Are Crest Whitestrips really safe for the enamel?

Posted on September 7, 2010

My teeth got really sensitive after using it. If it is making my teeth sensitive then it is probably doing some kind of damage to my teeth. Is it really safe for my enamel because I heard that it can strip off layers of the enamel when I use it.

  1. NO, they basically deteriorate your enamel slowly. Simply smiling in front of the air-conditioning hurts your teeth after using whitening strips. They are very bad for your teeth. IDK why they are still on the shelf. Do what I did, ask your dentist about zoom teeth whitening, its completely safe and not too costly. Besides, your dentist may have payment plans like mine does. Yes it costs more than the strips but at least its safe! You only have one set of teeth so we MUST take good care of them.
