Are too much teeth whitening products bad for you?

Is it okay to use Listerine whitening strips twice a day, Lisertine whitening mouthwash, and Crest and/or Colgate whitening toothpaste, or would all these products make my teeth go bad?

The strips are intended to be used twice a day, but only for 2 weeks. You’ll be fine if you only do it for that period of time. The longer you do it, the more you will erode your teeth however. According to Listerine, you can then tack on another 2 week treatment period, but I would wait awhile before doing that.
The mouthwash and toothpaste are both extremely mild, but I would stop using them specifically until you finish the 2 week treatment of the strips. After that, start using the toothpaste and mouthwash again in lieu of the strips.
P.S. Those strips are so gross. I hate the taste and feeling in my mouth.

I have heard that using the whitening kits too much can strip your teeth and make them weaker.
I would use the white strips less often.

Too much of the whitening products (the strips mostly) will weaken the enamel on your teeth, and it will eventually wear away. I would definitely ease up on the strips…

Yes, over-the-counter whitening treatments are very harmful to the tooth enamel. It strips the tooth enamel and makes your teeth weaker. The best whitening method would be to mix baking soda and hydrogen peroxide and brush with it after using your regular toothpaste. I recommend using Crest Expressions toothpaste along with the whitening mixture. Just be sure not to swallow the whitening mixture! Best of luck!

if you want a safe way to whiten your teeth use peroxide a couple times a day it will work it may take little longer then all those other products but you also kill all the grems in your mouth at the same time and less likely to get sick too. hope this helps
