Did you know that scientists have found that oral sex can cause throat cancer? Would that stop you going down?

Apparently, a virus contracted through oral sex is the cause of some throat cancers, say US scientists.

HPV infection was found to be a much stronger risk factor than tobacco or alcohol use, the Johns Hopkins University study of 300 people found.

The New England Journal of Medicine study said the risk was almost nine times higher for people who reported oral sex with more than six partners.

  1. Everyone’s got to die of something or the other, why not something that gives two people satisfaction?

We’ve been told that too much sex causes prostrate cancer: http://www.4-men.org/sex-and-prostate-cancer.html

In fact, everything else seems to cause cancer these days.

Besides, my missus would send me packing if she doesn’t get the ‘service’ anymore.

  4. Doesn’t cause cancer but may increase the likelihood of the disease occurring.

  5. hmmmm, food for thought.

I still want my man down there regardless – on the other hand, I now have an excuse to decline.

  6. Don’t let the girls hear about this. I’ve got a good thing going….

  7. I agree in unionj. A girl still needs to have ger needs met. But girls can use the opt out clause!

  8. HPV is the same virus that leads to cervical cancer, and lots of research has suggested that HPV infections at other sites of the body can lead to cancer as well. This actually really isnt new. But please be clear, its not the act of oral sex, its the transimission of the virus from one infected partner to the other infected partner that is the problem.
