make sure you are not using mouthwash with alcohol in as this makes the problem worse (may also be written as ethanol) Make sure you are not eating protein -meat, cheese, eggs, pulses, beans etc, more than twice a day, make sure you are not constipated, make sure you do not have gum disease, make sure you drink enough,

Chew, chew, chew! A dry mouth is breeding grounds for bad breath. A great way to stimulate saliva glands to moisten your mouth is to chew gum, preferably sugar-free cinnamon gum made with xylitol. Sugar = bad for your health, cinnamon = lowers bacteria population in your mouth, and xylitol = inhibit bacteria multiplication: a triple win! For more natural options, chew fennel seeds, cloves, or mint leaves.
Beef up the H2O intake. A dehydrated body results in a dry mouth. Refer to point #1 regarding dry mouths.
Clean that carpet! Your tongue is a red carpet rolled out for the yummy flavors you want to pick up… and tons of food particles that stay stuck in the fibers of said red carpet long after the yummy flavors have become a distant memory. After brushing and flossing, use a tongue scraper or your toothbrush to clean your tongue and revive those taste buds.
Gargle with a spoonful of baking soda dissolved in a cup of water or a 50/50 hydrogen peroxide and water solution.
A drop or two of cinnamon, spearmint, peppermint, or tea tree essential oils on the tongue will provide instant freshness. Bonus: tea tree oil has strong antibacterial properties. Add a drop or two to your toothpaste when brushing your teeth to maximize benefits as well.
Avoid garlic, onions, cabbage, and (please don’t kill me) coffee.
Drop in on the ol’ dentist for a visit. Sometimes, bad breath is caused by medical conditions that no amount of home remedies and diet changes can cure.

try brushing your teeth with baking soda just wet the tooth brush and put baking soda in a cup or your palm then with the tooth brush dip it in the baking soda and just brush like you normally do, it’s so weird but the baking soda really cleans your mouth after you rinse you’ll have a sweet taste in your mouth i brush my teeth with baking soda every other night and i never wake up with bad breath in the morning and i use regular toothpaste every Morning and also floss daily!
