How can I whiten my teeth cheaply at home?

Posted on August 25, 2010

I want my teeth to be more white. I already use a whitening toothpaste and an electric toothbrush, and I brush and use mouthwash twice a day, but I'm not happy with the colour of my teeth. Is there anything else I could be doing to help? I did hear somewhere that sucking on lemons will help... is this true or harmful or neither or both?

I'm a poor student so I can't afford professional whitening treatments or anything too flashy.

Any input is appreciated, as long as it's sensible.

  1. brushing your teeth with baking soda.

brushing with hydrogen peroxide. (dont swallow)

Combine baking soda and hydrogen peroxide for a double tough whitening formula

    dont smoke or drink.

Stay away from sweets and sugars to keep teeth from decay.

  2. rinse with hydrogen peroxide three times a day for 10 minutes.
    DON’T swallow the peroxide ! ! ! !
    works for me =D

  3. Mix a lil Bi-carb soda with some water and put some on ur toothbrush,It Worked for me,try it!

  4. Hydrogen peroxide is probably the most common and popular natural lightening agent. Apple cider vinegar can also be used for teeth whitening. More remedies and information regarding your teeth at http://useinfo-dentalcare.blogspot.com/
