Placing tooth brushes in the dispenser starts to smell

When placing toothbrushes, tooth paste in the tooth paste dispenser, after few weeks or months, it starts to smell. Any house hold remedies? I guess since it gets wet and allergies gets build up.

  1. get one that is not boxed up it’s open and change brush every mo or so

  2. Make a slurry of 9 parts H2O and 1 part Baking Soda. Keep them immersed in that and change bi-monthly.

  3. Use the toothpaste right out of the tube; don’t put it in a dispenser. Change toothbrushes once a month. Clean the toothbrush holder frequently with Lysol spray or some other bacteria killing spray.
