Is fluoride safe to swallow?
I just had a dentists appointment and after the appointment the dentist put a yellow/brown paste on my teeth called fluoride. They didnt say whether or not if its safe to swaloow but did say not to eat or drink for 20-30 minutes. I keep swallowing because its hard not to (it goes in with my saliva) and it tastes like toothpaste. Anyway is it safe? Also, what is it for?
Is it okay to drink water after brushing teeth?
I just brushed my teeth with a fluoride toothpaste, then used mouthwash, and put a fluoride treatment on my teeth. But, I'm extremely thirsty, so is it okay to have a glass of ice water? Or should I wait about 30 minutes? Thanks for the help!
Is this anything or am I jumping to conclusions? Intense back pain and sharp pains in lower right abdomen?
I'm 19, exercise 30 minutes per day, not preggers. This has been going on for about a week now. Once the back pain was bad enough that I couldn't stand up straight, I could walk but not standing up straight. The shooting pain goes from front to back on the right side just above my hips. Do these things coincide or am I just over-thinking it? Other than this I have no other symptoms.
CANKER SORES!!! HELP!?
Ever since I was little I get painful canker sores. What helps them to heal? They are usually so bad that I can't eat or talk without it being painful. I have a particularly painful one right now that is splitting my head in half. I have used salt water and hydrogen peroxide...even numbed it..but it only relieves me for 30 minutes or so. It's in the side of my cheek. I get them everytime I'm stressed, or bite & burn my mouth.

Braces Help? Any suggestions are very appreciated.?
I've had braces since November 2010, & I'm very conscious about them and I have a few questions... Any & all answers are greatly appreciated.
1) How do I get really white teeth while having braces? I went to get my normal cleaning from my dentist, & she said I was doing the best job cleaning around the brackets that she's seen in a while. But even though mom said my brackets were shiny & my teeth were whiter, I didn't think they looked any better. I'm very self conscious about the color of them & I feel they could be whiter...
2) Do I HAVE to use the fluoride toothpaste stuff my orthodontist gave me? It says I have to brush my teeth for EXACTLY a minute, & I can't eat, drink, swallow, or spit it out for 30 minutes, then I have to rinse it off. Is there any alternative I can use? Because I use it, but I feel it takes way to much time & if there's an alternative that's just as good, I'd be more than happy to use it.
3) I'm paranoid about having white spots after I get them taken off, is there anyway to prevent that from happening?

Is it OK to swallow spit when you're using teeth whitening strips?
Teeth whitening strips make you drool when you use them...is it OK to swallow that spit since there is so much peroxide in the strips? It makes me nervous to swallow it, but what a pain to have to keep spitting out spit for 30 minutes a day!

I have an idea to buy a teeth whitening kits product. I am not a fan of the dissolving strips and don't have time to wear strips for 30 minutes 2 times a day.
Is anything bad going to happen because I ate after going to the dentist?
I had a cleaning with a fluoride rinse. I completely forgot I wasn't supposed to eat or drink anything for 30 minutes after and had a full meal literally right after I left! Is this going to cause something bad to happen to my teeth? I also have braces, if that makes a difference.
teeth and gum problems what are the symptoms ?
my sister has all of her adult teeth.Anyways she has had problems with her gums lately like her gums are swollen.She says it feels like having a cavity or having sensitive teeth.It goes on and off every 30 minutes or so.It gets worse each pain,ore gel used to help now she says it still feels like the pains are there.We have looked up gingivitis and abscess but it is niether,what is it?
Any quick home remedies for cramps+ lower back pain, thigh discomfort?
I just got my monthly flow and I'm having the biggest cramps, not to mention slight lower back pain and my thighs hurt. :'( I took a Midol around 30 minutes ago and nothing. Is there anything natural I can whip up or any other tips to relieve the pain of all three areas I just mentioned?
