Should I fear for my sexual health if I've never had unprotected sex in my life?

Posted on August 31, 2010

I am a bi-sexual male that has had protected oral, vaginal, and anal sex mostly all my life. There were 3 partners that I let down on me raw and 1 partner that i let perform analingus on me just recently. Other than that I have always had protected intercourse. Never had unprotected intercourse in my life. I use two condoms when I perform anal despite the warnings of breakage or tearing, but they have NEVER tore or broke during anal sex.

I always get tested, the tests come back negative for alot of things, but recently I've been getting tested but not waiting the full 3-6 months because there's always a new partner.

My question: should i be fearful about my sexual health even if i've never in my life had unprotected intercourse except for those few times 3 different partners perform oral sex on my genitals and 1 performed analingus on me?

Unprotected Gay Oral Sex and Risk of Herpes?

Posted on August 26, 2010

My partner and I (both males) would like to engage in unprotected fellatio. I know that it would be best if we were both tested for STDs or STIs before engaging in such an activity, but I should like to know the danger in unprotected oral sex if the statuses are unknown. I know that HIV and Hepatitis-B can both be transferred during fellatio, but in this post I'd like to concentrate on Herpes.

(1)
a. If my partner has HSV-1, has no symptoms, and performs fellatio on me (gives me a b-job), what are the chances that I shall contract herpes on my genitals?
b. If has HSV-1, has no symptoms and kisses me on my face and mouth, what are the chances that I shall contract the virus?
c. If he has HSV-1. has no symptoms, and kisses my other body parts (bum in particular) with NO rimming (analingus), what are the chances that I shall contract the virus?

(2)
a. If my partner has HSV-2, has no symptoms, and performs fellatio on me (gives me a b-job), what are the chances that I shall contract herpes on my genitals?

c. By giving him a hand-job?

I have tried my best to reduce redundancy and I hope the questions make sense. If something is unclear, let me know and I shall clarify. I realise that this post is quite long, but I still hope you can try to address all the questions. If you would like to answer these privately please feel free to send me an e-mail (This is not soliciting anything other than information regarding sexual health). I have many other questions some similar (regarding HPV instead of Herpes) and some different, and should very much like to talk about them. If you are able and willing to discuss them with me, please feel free to contact me via e-mail. Also if you know of a website or U.S. telephone hotline where I can talk to someone directly, ask questions and receive answers, please post the link or phone number here. Again all I desire is information to help me make informed decisions about my sexual life. Thank you very much for you time and answers.
The use of the word 'b-job' is meant only to be more specific and provide clarity. It is not meant to be offensive, explicit or cause sexual arousal. This whole post is soley meant to gain information regarding sexual health.
