Is it possible to get diabetes from eating too much natural fruit?
I have been drinking 100% natural frozen orange juice concentrate for several years now. I always thought this was a very healthy thing to do(relative to a soda pop addiction I still believe it is) but from an overall health standpoint and articles on Dr. Mercolas website, drinking concentrated fruit juices is not all that healthy since it causes spikes in blood sugar levels. So i have given up frozen concentrate juices and replaced them with plain old fruit to satisy my sugar cravings. Im eating watermelon constantly throughout the day. I've been doing this for a couple months now. Well, I just read in Trivia's Vitajournal that "the average person should eat no more than 32 grams of sugar per day." The article then goes on to show that a large apple has 22 grams of sugar. So according to this article if I eat 2 large apples a day Im eating too much sugar. Is it possible to get diabetes by eating too much all natural God given fruit such as apples and watermelon?
What are some health benefits of apples?
I've started having an apple (or more) a day, in part to keep the doctor away, but also because I finally found a place nearby that sells good apples fairly consistently. I was wondering what some of the health benefits are - I've heard that apples can help you run better, for one thing, and was wondering if that was true. Also I've been told they're pretty high in fiber. What else are they good for? And which color of apples (red vs green) is better for you, from a health standpoint, or does it really matter?

How to deal with a tooth problem?
I generally take good care of my teeth. I brush them regularly, and I do floss on occasion, but still not quite as much as I should. The other day, I noticed that the gums around one of my teeth in the front were a little bit irritated, and every time I bite into something like an apple, or even put something near my mouth, that awful smell you get from plaque/bad breath is there. I've flossed several times since I noticed it, to try and get rid of it, but nothing. In fact, it just irritates the gums more, and it still smells bad, but only in that area. I'm trying to be gentle, but I don't know what's wrong.
Also, I cannot see a dentist for another month (6 month rule), and I am away at school anyways.
What is it? What can I do?
why do apples make our teeth whiter?
i just ate an apple and even though my teeth were already clean omg they look so much whiter!
and its a proven fact that they do.
why though?
