does having crooked teeth make you ugly?
I have been told i am very pretty by like everyone in my life. I try to be nice to everyone, everyone always complements my hair for being long soft and pretty, i have a good face, pretty eyes, nice nose, but my teeth are really really crooked. the thing that makes me most upset is that the main part where they are all crooked in in the front of my mouth. the two top ones arrow out like they are pointing at something and the others are really crowded. but does that make me ugly, even though everything looks great with my mouth shut?
Could this be gingivitis?
I have sort of like an arrow shaped inflamation on my gums, behind my two front teeth. It's more a dot, then a little arrow going down, and it's swollen and red around it. It also hurts like crap when I accidentaly used that part of my mouth to eat something. Is it something I should worry about?
Can a dentist shave one of my tooth's down? *pic*?

The arrow that I drew on the picture (ha) is my left tooth and it's slightly crooked and doesn't match the right one as far as length goes.
Can a dentist just shave it to match the other side? Does it effect your tooth or enamel? Is there any pain involved? How much does tooth shaving cost?
