Is it gingivitis, or what?
Running around the inner gum on my bottom set of teeth I have a depression, ridged on either side. It runs around the level where the tooth meets the root. My gums bleed occasionally, when I brush vigorously, and my teeth move a tiny amount when pressed, but I do not appear to have receeding gums, and my breath isn't at all fowl.
Really, the only symptom is this ridge in my gums. It appeared over night, and has lasted for around a month, with no change...
I'm going to the dentist in 4 months. Should I make an urgent appointment. I have almost no money, so im reluctant. What do you think this is?
Im an 18 year old boy, from a 'health food' crazy family, and lead a pretty active lifestyle. I also brush regularly. Although, I do have post-strep arthritis.
What is most likely to be causing this back pain?
I have arthritis but it's minor now with only flair ups occasionally when it's cold. I walked in the morning shortly after waking up. I have been working and on my feet for a few days. My diet has varied a little in the past week. the pain is minor but sharp in the lower back area.
I'm just trying to cross-reference objectively, like House would, which possible factor is most likely the main cause of this particular pain. I also smoked a little green within the last week after not smoking for six months.

Does anyone know how to relieve chronic back pain due to inflammation and arthritis?
