toothpaste and acne: does it really work?
i have mild-moderate acne, ive been on various pills, ive tried proactive etc, and my acne is just really stubborn. ive had it since i was like 14 (im now 18) and im really getting sick of it and depressed by the fact that even makeup doesnt really cover it up. its not like i have huge zits, i just get like...blotches of acne, if that makes sense, like acne scars, but they arent scars cuz they arent pockmarks or anything, they are def. acne, just not in single bumps or whiteheads (usually) or anything.....so.......does toothpaste really work? and if not, are there any normal, cheap home remedies i can try? i look at alot of home remedies and its like 'mix water with root-of-a-plant-youve-never-heard-of-in-your-life-and-could-never-get-at-a-grocery-store and rub it on your face' and that doesnt help me...
i wash my face daily with oxy's medicated soap, i use a non-comedogenic makeup, and as far as makeup goes, i use the bare minimum to at least try to cover up my acne.

I have a question about mild/moderate generalized enamel hypoplasia?
I have 3 cavities needing to be filled. One or two of the three in the front I think.
My dentist recommended that I get ZOOM teeth whitening done, THEN get the white fillings matched to the new shade of my teeth.
I read the consent form for Zoom and it said something about open cavities and the bleaching gel getting into will cause substantial pain.
So then why is my dentist not doing my fillings first, then the ZOOM?
Also, I have mild/moderate generalized enamel hypoplasia and she said the ZOOM would blend all my white spots in (and my teeth are a bit yellow to begin with).
I did read something about ZOOM being less effective on white spots...so am I going to end up with blotches?
What are your opinions?
BTW, I have heard having ZOOM done is like chewing on tinfoil.

well, i have braces right now and im loving the way my teeth look but on the side tooth or canine tooth, i have white blotches of plaque! its only a little noticable but still, how can that go away? if i get my teeth whitened when im older will it go away and stay completely white? all answers greatly apprieciated, thanks! :)
