Is it normal for a teeth/gums to feel a little affected from a tongue piercing.?
I got my tongue pierced Wednesday night & I`ve been dealing with the little regular side effects of getting one. BUT one feeling that I have gotten is from my teeth.
One of my front bottom teeth has that little feeling you get when you`re little . . . like it`s about to be loose.
The feeling got stronger . . . .then it faded away.
I haven`t hit my ring on my teeth., haven`t bit my teeth down on my ring or anything.
When I ran my fingers along my front bottom teeth, the feeling felt sore. The pain has gone, but I`m still worried about it.
Also is swelling under the chin && the throat area common.?
Because I`m ready to take it out now.
Should I use whitening strips on my bottom teeth?
I am getting braces put on in august so I would like to whiten my teeth, the only problem is that I have a lingual arch (similar to a retainer) on the back of my bottom teeth. I'm getting it removed when I get my braces put on, but They're going to be on both the top and bottom. So, do you think it's safe or not?
Is this plaque on my teeth?
On my bottom teeth, there is a hard film behind them. it recently chipped and is now apparent to not be part of my teeth. I can drag my tongue against it and it is sharp where it chipped. Is this plaque? Will flossing get rid of it?
Can Wisdom Teeth Cause Canker Sores and Swollen Gums?
I think I may have my wisdom teeth coming in and I've researched some of the symptoms I'm having, such as, swollen tonsil, sore throat, sore ear, tense neck, and minor headaches... and these seem to be some of them. Although I also have swollen gums that are not near my molers but behind my front teeth and a canker sore infront on my bottom teeth.
Others have found the gums near where there wisdom teeth are to swell and have canker sores, but can your wisdom teeth cause swelling and canker sores elsewhere in your mouth, not by your molers?
Should i get my lip pierced with a ring or flatback stud?

how to get rid of gingivitis?
Ive kinda taken care of it so far but now my bottom teeth that are in the front one tooth and the gum is starting to get a little bad it hurts to brush that one tooth. My other teeth quit hurting a few days after i started my little treatment but the pain for that one started back. Ive been using hydrogen peroxide with water after i brush and floss i do that at night. Then in the morning i brush and do m mouth wash with the peroxide. I think its finally going away kinda but i don't know what to do. I don't want to cause my parents more trouble or money. Can i take care of this at home or should i just give in and go to the dentist and how do i take care of this?
