What to do about bad breath?
Ok my friend has a bad breath problem. He USED TO smoke 2 years ago, he does drink alot of coffee so not sure if these two things contributed to permanent breath problem.
Seems like no matter how much he brushes his teeth, at some point during the day his breath stinks again. He'll take a tic-tac and still. I assume he has halotosis.
Are there any recommendations for products or things he can do to help his breath?

How to overcome the bad breath problem when going on a no-carbs diet?
My girlfriend has just started the no-carbs diet and she needs all the support she can possiblity get from me.
One of the disadvantages of this diet is the horrible breath. I have read about this before, but it never crossed my mind that I will be suffering this when she announced that she was going on this diet.
My questions are:
1- What can she do in order to over come the horrible breath problem?
2- How can I tell her without hurting her feelings?
It's really horrible for me... when we're talking, and worse, when kissing!

can picking or biting lips cause bad breath?
because i often bite the inside of my lips and tear bits of skin off. There are white bumps on my inner lip, i also sometimes have a bad breath problem but i have good oral hygine brushing my teeth and tongue twice a day, and flossing. On my tongue if i look closely i can see a whitish coating. Could any of this be causing bad breath?

I am 16 and I have a bad breath problem. When I was 11 I had the same problem and got prescribed stomach pills for indigestion problems and it went away, but then I stopped taking them and now it is back. My breath is really bad in the morning, it is more than morning breath. And even after I brush my teeth and tongue, it will smell an hour afterward. Please help this is embarrassing!

So I have apparently been having a breath problem and i have no idea how to fix it. I have a permanent retainer so could it be that? Or possibly the fact the sides of my mouth are always being bitten so they have to heal? Any suggestions beside mints and gum?

Can still having your wisdom teeth cause you to have bad breath?
If I get my wisdom teeth pulled, hopefully will my bad breath problem be gone by chance? I know a lot of food gets trapped down there and I can't floss back there because they're halfway out of my gums, plus I have like a flap over them where the food gets trapped under. I put my finger back there one time and smelled my finger, and I was like "Whew!", I'm thinking I need to go ahead and get them taking out. I feel no pain from them but I think that's the reason why my breath smells bad all the time. I keep mints on me. Do you think this is a good idea to go ahead and get them removed?
