2 questions, ill choose a best answer :) about acne and teeth.?
1- I wash my face with soap and water twice a day morning and night. But i still breakout with pimples. I am 14 years old, and dealing with stress too so that may be a problem. I used to use things like Nuetragena,oxy,clean&clear,st.ives,stridex,and many more of those things and i didnt like it, so thats why now i am only using regular soap now. I also have very oily skin. How do i make this acne go away without using the other things i mentioned? help?
2-I have braces and i am getting them off in 2 months, i want to know what are some good flosses, or brushes or toothpastes for puffy gums that bleed every time i brush? Also when i eat ice cream my teeth feel all tingley and it hurts , or like ice from a drink, anything also to help this?
My Friend's Teeth Are Weird?
One of my friends has kind of weird teeth. She said that when she was little (4-5 years old) she had tons of sugary drinks and foods and never brushed her teeth, so she got tons of cavities and her teeth were in bad shape. She had some sort of glaze put over her teeth. It makes her teeth look sort of grayish and it also somehow makes her teeth look really bumpy and rough with white-gray splotches. I was just wondering, do any of you recommend products that she can use? She brushes her teeth a lot now and they're very clean, but they look a little weird and I want to help her boost her self-confidence, since lately she's been saying she's ugly. :-(

Worst Canker/cold sores ever, I've tried everything but it doesn't do anything?
I have 3 canker sores on my bottom lip, all in the same spot (it looks like it forms a triangle).
It hurts so bad, it brushes up on my teeth and it stings, it looks like I have this huge piercing in my lip.
I've tried everything from...
Salt (it just hurts like heck and makes it bleed a little), to sore medication (it numbs it, but never stays on), to ice, to mouth wash, and tums to cut down on the acidity in my stomach... and it just doesn't do anything. I stopped brushing my teeth cause I heard that SLS causes canker sores.
but that's not even how I got it... After school, I took a nap on accident, and when I woke up, i had these horrible sores on my lip. This was about a week ago.
I also heard it's caused by a vitamin deficiency.. but I take a multivitamin and i get most of my vitamins.
Is swallowing toothpaste bad for an adult?
I think it's disgusting. Every night when my boyfriend brushes his teeth he swallows the toothpaste Instead of spitting it out and I can't get him to stop. He said it hasn't made him sick so far so it can't be that bad. I think it's just so gross. Can anyone help me?
Severe plaque on teeth?
My friend had really bad teeth, the front two on top row, have gone green (just at the top) like plaque i suppose. She wants to know if the dentist could do anything if she asked because its affecting her confidence. She is only 15 and she now brushes her teeth properly.
She doesnt know for sure why her teeth are like this, she assumes its because she didnt brush her teeth before but shes not sure if it is from the medication she took from a young age either.
What toothpaste would you recommend?
I'm guessing my boyfriend has hypersensitive tastebuds. He's the pickiest eater I have ever encountered. He brushes his teeth like he should, but hates it because he says the toothpaste taste sticks with him for hours after he's done brushing. He hates the taste. I buy Crest, but do you have any non-minty or non-powerful tasting recommendations? Are the toothpastes for children any better tasting?
What would make a person smell like mold?
My daughter smells like mold. She is very clean, takes showers daily, brushes her teeth, washes and dries her hair. She thought it was the fragrance she was using for the shower and washing her hair with but she still smells that way after discontinuing use. Could anyone help me? No idea what could be causing this.

My friend has nasty teeth, help?!?
So my friend has really nasty gum lines. A couple weeks ago I noticed white stuff along her gum lines and thought maybe it was just from the food she was eating but then the next day I noticed it was still there, then realized it's plaque. Now I have to avoid looking at her when talking because I don't want to look at her nasty teeth.
I never bought up that her teeth are looking gross because I don't want to sound mean. But she says she brushes her teeth. She has good overall hygiene but I don't know what the deal is with her teeth. How can I nicely yet effectively clue her in that she needs to brush her teeth. I figured she would have noticed all that nasty plaque build up by now.
