While most weight loss regimens focus on the outer layer of subcutaneous fat, Dr. Sharma highlights the importance and negative health effects of excess visceral fat. This segment includes a series of exercise and diet tips that will help cut down on visceral fat and at the same time eliminate the subcutaneous "beer belly". This segment also gives some insight into cryolipolysis, a new non-invasive procedure that targets visceral fat. I am 17 and I recently went to the doctors, sense there are so many people with diabetes in my family the doctor told me "It isn't a matter of if you will get diabetes it is when." She then told me to "eat right you know how to your mom is a diabetic" My mother doesn't eat the best so I was wondering what you should be watching in your diet in this situation, would it be calories? Thanks!
