why does vinegar, salt and toothpaste work on mosquito bites?
I am doing an experiment where I am testing whether vinegar, salt or toothpaste works faster on mosquito bites to get rid of the itch, but I also need to find out why they work. Help please!
not just what they do but, for example, what chemicals are in them that enable them to do so
i'm black and most people don't think my hair is real. should i let this get to me?
i'm 17 and i'm so freakin tired of girls (mostly black girls,no offence intended) that my hair is fake and saying rude/mean comments to me about my hair. my hair,yes my REAL hair is 3 inches from my waist and it's black,thick and shiny. and sometimes i can understand why i get treated the way that i do =[ i just don't understand it sometimes. it took me only 13 months from shoulder length to this length and i was really patient while doing it (all i did was wear it in a bun and layed off the chemicals and heat the WHOLE entire 13 months lol) and i'm only 5'3" lol. most of the time i get "you know that's not your hair,so stop trying to flip it" or "only mixed or nonblack girls have long hair,so take your weave out" or "you're trying to be a fake wanna-be white girl " (no offense at all). but honestly it hurts. it's even to the point that i literally have to keep wearing my hair up in buns,because if i wear it out,i hear snicker,girls sucking their teeth in or some people being rude to me. i want to be able to ENJOY wearing my hair and not giving a damn what anyone thinks,but i just can't take the meaness anymore. what should i do? Black people CAN grow hair,it's just some don't really know how to properly care for it or they just don't care about it lol.
should i let this get to me? should i enjoy it?
i was thinking about cutting it a little shorter,but dammit i've come this far lol

Alright so I know the acid in Coca Cola and other pop drinks wears away the enamel on your teeth. I'm addicted to diet coke and so I always use a straw to try to prevent dental erosion but then I began to think if the acid is that strong could it eventually cause an ulcer or gastric rupture? It seems drastic but does any one know? Ps. I know it's not a healthy habit b/c of the chemicals and I know carbonated water isn't great but that's not what I'm asking so please don't put that in your answer, thanks.

I know i have bad gums but i'm a very busy person and often come home extremely tired and crash to sleep. it's been a BAD habit since my teens.
