Does Mouth Wash actually help?
I have braces and use Colgate mouth wash twice a day. I take it because:
- I like the fresh breath after brushing
- It gets rid of plaque etc. in the spots you cant reach with your brush.
BUT - does mouth wash really help clean your teeth? Is it actually healthy?
I have a friend and she makes braces and dental stuff, she told me that mouth wash isnt actually healthy and i shouldnt take it twice a day. PLEASE HELP - as if this stuff doesnt help then i dont need to buy it.
Does whitening toothpaste cause enamel erosion?
I've been using this colgate whitening toothpaste for a while now, and my teeth do seem to be a bit whiter. The problem is my front teeth seem to becoming see through at the tips. Is that possible or is it just my imagination?
Also, is whitening toothpaste a substitute for normal toothpaste or do I have to use it as well as the normal stuff?
What is the best toothpaste to use?
I've tried them all, from colgate to crest, aqua fresh, peospdent, close up, mentadent, to rembrandt. I was pleased with colgate, crest, and rembrandt but it was so darn expensive for such a little tube of toothpaste.
What is a really good toothpaste for periodontal disease?
I have Colgate Total advanced, But i need something else... How about something with neutral sodium?
How do I get my teeth whiter?
I brush my teeth twice everyday, with Colgate whitening toothpaste. However, my teeth seem to never whiten. They aren't disgustingly yellow, but they aren't really white either, if you understand what I mean.
I'm not allowed to use teeth whiteners, like Crest whitestrips, because my mother thinks that they're bad, and there is no talking her out of it.
Anyway, to get to my point, what are some things I could do to get my teeth whiter? And about how long will it take for me to see a noticeable difference?
If it's of any importance, I don't drink coffee, or tea and I don't smoke.
-Thanks so much!
what's the best and current whitening toothpaste to date?
A few years back, it was Colgate Simply White which I've tried and used and it works! I can't seem to find these now these days as I'm guessing something better came along and it got discontinued.
