ive been using crest whitening strips for the past two weeks now..and i don't really see a difference
my teeth are pretty white naturally but i just wanted to try them out and see if they work..
but they look the same to me. is there a certain amount of time i have to use them befoer i start noticing differences?

Is dental x-ray harmful? also how much dental hygine cleaning lightens the tooth?
The reason I want to go to the dental clinique of our university is that I want my tooth get lighter. I know that it is not whitening which is cosmetic. They told me it is only cleaning that only removes the plaques from your tooth, and before cleaning process (which Flouride is excluded from it) they have this dental x-ray to check-up the tooth. I don't know if it worths going for check up when they have x-ray.
What do you think about it. (also I have also tried Crest whitening strips once but they are expensive and they do not whiten the tooth that much either)
If I use Teeth Whitening, will it make my uneven color more uneven?

Well, I don't normally have sensititve teeth - except when I used teeth whitening strips. About 5 years ago, I tried Crest whitening strips (back when they didn't have a strong formula and it took about a month to see results.) Well, it really hurt my teeth because after about 2 weeks of using them, my teeth got really sensitive.
I'm afraid if I get 1 week treatment, the solution will be compounded and too strong for my teeth to handle.
What are your experiences? Thanks!
Pros and Cons of brushing with baking soda…?
I know it cleans well and whitens your teeth, but I've heard it causes bad breath and it lacks fluoride.
Do toothpastes that have a bit of baking soda in them as well as fluoride work just as good when it comes to whitening?
What if I brushed with baking soda and then used a strong mouthwash afterward with fluoride in it. Could that be an alternative to toothpaste?
Or should I stick with toothpaste and just use something like Crest Whitening Strips?
Can baking soda dissolve orthodontic glue and destroy enamel?

but my problem isn't from decay or bulemia... it's from only TWO DAYS of crest whitening strips. needless to say, i ditched them, but my teeth are really sensitive now & it hurts to eat or drink anything :[
so tell me once & for all, if it's only from the cause i mentioned, will the surface enamel grow back or get stronger or whatever it does? i'm worried :[
