Are Crest White Strips a good source for teeth whitening?
I've heard they may cause pain and remove a horrible amount of enamel, is this true? And do they give good results with whitening?
Teeth Whitening in the Salon to Make more Money
Earn extra income in a beauty salon by whitening teeth as an additional salon service. You don't have to be a dentist. It is a self administered service. Sell the daily maintenance pen. Presented by Misty White. The procedure: Dry off the teeth with a paper or a washcloth; protect the lips and gums with vitamin gel; apply the whitening gel and add the light. The result will be seen in 20 minutes. Use the maintenance pen overnight. Avoid red wine, tea and coffee, and do not smoke to keep the teeth white and stain free. Avoid candy, black tea, chocolate, dark soda, and berries for 24 hours. The product lightens the teeth up to 7 shades; no sensitivity, no pain, no harm to the enamel. The blue light from the heat lamp will activate the hydrogen peroxide to lighten the teeth. Safe for veneers, caps and crowns.
Should i really be that self conscious about my teeth? Do people really notice them or only if they're bad?
I neglected my teeth a lot when i was younger but I've started taking care of them again by brushing twice a day.
I'm only 17 and i have really yellow teeth which is one of the main things i'm worried about because I'm young and my teeth aren't white like everybody else i know, and i drink a lot of fizzy pop so i've had acid /enamel erosion but now i use a straw when i drink. Would people notice this and really care?
Also, my two top teeth are really and i mean REALLY rotated and i have quite an overbite i think thats from sucking my thumb and i don't know if braces would be able to fix this or not, i really hope so though but if not do you think people would really care about them being like that?
My parents never took me to the dentist when i was younger so i guess i blame them for never wanting me to go so it was up to me to start going now.
So do people really notice your teeth when you speak to them and do they really care or do they only really notice them if they're really bad like mine because i'm really self conscious so i don't speak much and i prefer to cover my mouth but i don't want to be like that but i'm scared of what people will think of my teeth being in the state they are. I really do want to get them fixed as much as i can as soon as i can but i don't know for sure i could so if not what would people think.
If i met someone who i haven't spoken to before and i started talking and they wouldn't expect my teeth to be like that so i'm really worried about it and what they'd think of me because they'd expect me to open my mouth and have white, straight, healthy teeth and i don't.
So when i speak to someone who I've never spoken to before would the best thing to do be to explain to them about how i feel about my teeth or should i only do that if they actually comment on them because i think if i explained it would make me feel better and less worried and self conscious about speaking to the person then??
Do i really need to be this self conscious and worried? I can't have the worst teeth ever, can i?
I want people to like me for the kind of person i am and not judge me for my teeth.
They look white on the photos but in real life are REALLY yellow:

(I know I've wrote a lot but i needed to explain in as much detail as possible about my teeth and how i feel about them with how they are now)
(Please try and answer everything if you can and be honest!)
what kind of toothpaste should i buy?
i have have crowns on my four front teeth. i dont have very strong enamel. (dont judge me) i havent been to the dentist in a few years and i just got insurance so i will be going soon. im going shopping tonight and need to know the best toothpaste for my teeth (my husband dosnt let my read every brand there is) Thanks!
I believe I am allergic to toothpaste. What are healthy options?
I'm currently using baking soda and don't mind it, but I've heard that prolonged use can cause enamel breakdown.
Since I've discontinued the toothpaste (3 days), my rash has cleared up almost 100%. I've had a rash around my mouth for years (ever since being severely sun burned) and my dermatologist said it was because I lick my lips. It's an on going battle to keep it under control with steroid based creams.
On a whim I gave up the toothpaste and it seems to be helping.
Question about teeth whitening?
I was going to use some type of whitening strips for my teeth, but i heard those are really bad for the enamel of your teeth (My enamel is weaker than most. Price for not taking better care of my teeth when I was a little kid) so what are some whitening products that aren't too expensive and don't damage enamel? I started rinsing with hydrogen peroxide before brushing recently.
Also what are some good enamel strengthening toothpastes?
Is it okay to use a Waterpik to clean my teeth right after a meal?
The way I figure, it's safer versus a toothbrush, since we're not supposed to brush the teeth after a meal because the enamel of teeth is vulnerable
Yellow teeth make me unattractive?
I am 18 years old and I have yellow, dirty-looking teeth. Its not cuz i dont brush them its cuz i have really weak enamel and it all wore off. Anyway, I'm afraid to smile around girls or ask anyone out because i'm afraid they will hate my teeth. One girl even told me that she wouldnt kiss me because my teeth are gross. I feel so depressed that I have teeth like this and I don't think ill ever get a girlfriend. My teeth are my only bad feature. Im not ugly or anything just a bit skinny but nothing bad. Im not great looking either though, just normal. I feel like as soon as a girl im flirting with sees my teeth, she will be turned off. And ive tried whitestrips and they dont work. Would a girl still date me even with bad teeth?
What ingredient(s) or property(ies) of Crest Pro Health Clinical toothpaste enable it to treat gingivitis?
. . . so effectively, when the only active ingredient in it is a fluoride, like most any other anti-cavity toothpaste, and fluoride is an enamel-corrosion inhibitor, not an antiseptic like triclosan; and an antiseptic would presumably be an essential ingredient, to reduce the bacteria that cause the gingivitis that this product is said to treat.
Does my mouthwash ruin the effect of my toothpaste?
My dentist gave me colgate sensitive enamel protect toothpaste. I Iike to use mouthwash but I'm using the one I had before which is crest pro health. It helps with some rebuilding enamel and freshens breath and what not but Im worried the fact that they are 2 different companies or something will ruin the effect of the other. Like will using the mouthwash after brushing mess up what the toothpaste is supposed to do ? Please answer thanks.
