i need help//advise from any one who has been to a mental health center//hospital?
i want to check myself into one! well i want to talk to my parents about it. but first i need to figure out the pros and cons about it!
i am a cutter... my parents dont know.
all i ever thing about is takin my life.
im not happy.
i am 100% depressed.
i want help
i want to feel better!
im sick of these feelings!
so how should i go about this and talking to my parents?
and for those of you who have been to one. how are they? so i know some what of what im going into!
im kinda scared of these places cause a really close family friend was a cutter for about 5 years.
she was in and out of hospitals... and she told me how they were and it just totally freaked me out!
i mean shock therepy!
and im going to my "crazy doctor" as i call her... tomorrow! so ya she doesnt know about my cutting tho!
i have never felt "OK"!
to tell you the truth i can never remember a time when i was ever happy! and thats sad cause i have an amazing family and i am really lucky to have the life that i do have!
but this really got messed up when i was 10 and im now 16. my brother went to prison and taht really messed me up! hard thing to deal with as a 10 year old!
Are there health benefits for a teenager to take Niacin?
Someone told me that it helped with feelings of well-being and to detox your system from drugs and pollutants. I've never taken hard drugs, but I had 8 cycles of chemotherapy in the past year. And I don't think I'm clinically depressed, but I fall into emotional valleys sometimes, and I can be moody and overly emotional.
I'm almost 18. Will it help young people, or is mainly for seniors wanting help with cholesterol or whatever?

I got my braces off for sr pics to be done, and am scheduled to get them back on so the Doctor can finish the "final touches" to make them look perfect...I've already had them 3 1/2 years-MUCH longer than planned. SHould I get them back on, or just be done with it?
Personally my teeth/smile look really weird to me now, but my family thinks I should leave the braces off. Do they look odd to you? You wont hurt my feelings, be honesttt! If they don't look right yet, I'll just endure the braces. again. haha

Chest Pain And Back Pain Can Someone Help Me?
Hello, I am a 16 year old male. I have been having sharp chest pain and back pain with these pulse sating feelings allover my body. I went to the er for the chest pain and they did a ekg and chest x ray and they said everything is ok. I am still having the chest pain it comes on randomly.
Does anyone know what this could possibly be? Could it be a pinched nerve in my back or anixety?
why would I have weakness in both upper and lower extremities after a epidural for lower back pain?
I was told by my physician that it's not related to the epidural, but after i had my block done this is when I've experienced these feelings. I have spasms and weakness in my hands, legs and feet. I also have tighten around my knees and this was done 25 days ago. I'm still experiencing alot of pressure on my back and hips. I can't sit, walk or stand for long periods without having terrible pain.
How do I stop getting cavities?
Okay I try my hardest to not get cavities but I still do. I am getting very tired of getting feelings. Please help! Is there anything better then what i am already doing?
