What happens if you miss about 3 days of brushing teeth…..?
But you floss once a day and use mouth wash morning and night.
Only for 3 days no more!
Is using a waterpik the same as flossing?
I dont floss I just use a waterpik. I was wondering if that alone is effective enough to remove plaque and food between teeth.
how do you get rid of bad breath?

My gums are sore, gingivitis?
My dentist told me that my gums were a little bit redder than they should be and when i floss and i push on them it feels like they are sore but it doesn't hurt it feels like massaging a knot out.
I guess the real question is:
Should i keep applying pressure to them to get better or will it get worse or will i only be making my gums hurt? thnx
HELP!!! How can you cure bad breath??!! I need a cheap cure for bad breath that is likely due to a cavity.?
I think I have a cavity, or maybe my wisdom tooth is messed up, because my husband says that I taste gross when he kisses me, and every now and then, I get stinky breath. I brush and floss, but I have always needed a lot of dental care because of acidic saliva, and apparently my two years without seeing a dentist are taking their toll. I need a quick fix for my breath, because my dental insurance won't be in place until at least a month, and then it still might be too expensive... Any one know of any really good breath cures or mouth washes or ANYTHING??? I am desperate. I really miss being kissed good.
Pregnancy Gingivitis? Best Mouthwash?
What is the best mouthwash to use? I saw that Peroxyl was a good one, but I'm not sure if I can use it while pregnant!! Any tips would be nice. I never had swollen or bleeding gums before I got pregnant. I went to the dentist today and didn't think to ask if any mouthwash is safe to use. I use colgate total toothpaste.
Also are all flosses the same? Right now I use flossers and not the the regular string kind. The floss on them seems kind of thin. Thanks
What could be wrong with my gum?
I have a crown, and above it the gum is swollen. Just above this crown and no where else.
I brush my teeth and use mouth wash in the morning.
In the middle of the day, after I eat, I will brush and use mouthwash and use a salt with water rinse.
Before I go to sleep, I brush, floss, and use a fluoride mouth wash.
What could I be doing wrong? What could be wrong? I am going to the dentist this week.

Why do I keep getting so many cavities?
I have never had a problem with my dental hygiene, but ever since I have turned 14, I have been getting so many cavities. Last year was the worst with 9 cavities all at once. Since then I have limited sugar drinks, I mainly drink water. I use to eat lemons, but I no longer do because the dentist said it was contributing to the formation of cavities. I also limited the candy I eat, and I now use sugarless gum. I brush and floss twice a day, and use fluoride mouth wash. I still, however, had 2 cavities at my last check up, and I may actually need a root canal. Why do I so much trouble with my teeth? I am trying to do everything that the dentists say, but I still keep getting cavities.
