Tooth pain after zoom teeth whitening?
I had Zoom Whitining done today at the Dentist office and it did a really good job, but WOW my teeth are super sensitive now. Some of them are even throbbing, is this normal and how long will it last?
It has been 14 hours and it still is pretty uncomfortable, but nowhere near as bad as it was earlier, so I think it is getting better.
Nope, I did not recieve any additional flouride rinse, but I do have to go back to get some home bleaching trays.
Listerine or Phos-Flur to help with periodontal disease?
I have periodontal disease with some teeth that have pockets of 7 millimeters. I am going to get root planing in the future but in the mean time I'm trying to take as good care of my teeth as possible. I am confused about whether I should use Colgate Phos-Flur fluoride rinse(alcohol-free), or use Listerine Tooth Defense instead (a flouride rinse that has alcohol).
Would an alcohol-based formula help more, or would it just dry out the gum pockets and make the periodontal disease worse?
will peridex stain your teeth? I was thinking of using clorahexadine but worried about staining my teeth. Or how about hydrogen peroxide?
What is the use of a flouride rinse after brushing?
I've been using a flouride rinse everyday after brushing since I was little, and I'm wondering, how does it help your teeth? You're just rinsing your mouth with the stuff for a minute, so how would it help?
