I have a question about toothpaste with fluoride vs toothpaste with no fluoride?
I hear people say that fluoride is bad but most dentist tell me that fluoride is needed to help prevent cavities. I've also had dentist tell me that fluoride is bad for you. I tried organic toothpaste once and at first the taste was awful but I got use to it. After having a dentist tell me I needed to use toothpaste with fluoride I switched back to regular. I had become use to the taste of organic and the regular toothpaste tasted so sugary that I would prefer going back to organic. SO the question is fluoride needed or not? I don't want to go back to organic and have my teeth rot out from not using fluoride toothpaste. You may think I am making or thinking to much about toothpaste but I am just curious as to what you think because I would really like to stick with organic if it's not going to harm my teeth, because I care a lot about my teeth and want them to last until I am at least 70. So thank for taking the time to read and answer my question it's much appreciated :)
sensitive tooth but periodondist can't find anything?
What causes a sensitive tooth when both the dentist and the periodondist can't find a problem. I have osteoporosis and stopped taking medication about a year ago. No teeth are loose, no cavities, but I have lost some jaw bone. I've been treated with fluoride toothpaste and rinse for about 2 months but no real results.

Brushing teeth with Baking Soda?
I was looking up home remedies and found this solution.
So I mix a little bit of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide until I get this pasty kind of texture, like regular toothpaste. Then I brush my teeth with it.
My question is, do I brush my teeth with just regular fluoride toothpaste after? Or before?
I ask this because I know that the baking soda is NOT a replacement for my toothpaste.
And how often should I use the baking soda method?
