Some Say Brushing with baking soda is kinda bad. If baking soda is already in my toothpaste is that bad?
I want my teeth to be whiter and i know baking soda works but i read that if you use it too much it will wear away enamel in my teeth, So my question is... That since i Have tooth paste from arm and hammer which has baking soda already made in it will that wear away enamel in my teeth or will i be fine? Please answer if you know the answer... i really wanna know.
Will brushing my teeth like 10 times a day make them whiter?
I am 20 years old and have always done the 2 times a day method but I am finding my teeth are getting yellower. I do not smoke or drinking coffee. I bought Arm & Hammer whitening toothpaste. Will they get whiter if I brush them 10 times a day with it or is there some sort of non-reversible path without whitening them
What is the toothpaste that you use regularly?

Do you use baking soda toothpaste/whitening toothpaste with sonicare electric toothbrush?
I heard that it breaks the toothbrush quicker or something, I've been using the arm & hammer whitening baking soda toothpaste for a while and i'm wondering if its ok to continue...
anybody know from personal experience?
thanks for the answers, but I dont want to know about its affect on my teeth... just about whitening toothpastes affect on an electric toothbrush (As I've been told it can get inside them and break them)
Arm & Hammer Whitening Booster?
Does Arm & Hammer Whitening Booster really work? Like is it worth it to buy it? Also, if it does work, does it make your teeth sensitive to things? I've heard that some whitening products make teeth very sensitive.
Should getting your teeth cleaned be an unpleasant experience?
Recently I purchased health and dental insurance and began going to the dentist for regular visits for the first time in thirty years. I just got back from the dentist and getting my teeth cleaned was unpleasant. The dental hygenist didn't make any effort to explain what she was doing, didn't say anything to me at all except "Turn this way, please." She inserted this morotized dental pick into my mouth (WTF? We didn't have anything like that when I was kid). I kept expecting her to hit a nerve and I tensed up and got ready to slap it out of her hand. After a while she switched to the manual pick and attacked my mouth like she was personally angry, either at me or at the dental plaque, I wasn't sure which. Afterwards there was substantial gum bleeding and my whole mouth felt sore.
As a child my mother took me to the dentist twice a year and I don't ever remember getting my teeth cleaned to be an unpleasant experience. I would lie there in the dentist's chair and daydream while he scraped away at my teeth. I would barely notice what he was doing.
It was unpleasant when I went last April, too, but that time I made allowance for the fact that she had to remove thirty years' worth of plaque from my teeth (no cavities, by the way). Is this some new school of thought: "aggressive dentistry" or something? Or should I get a new dentist?
