Can I get medicaid if I have a job that doesn't offer health benefits?
I'm currently on SSI Disability receiving Medicaid and Medicare benefits. I'm looking at possibly being able to go back to work slowly. I am worried about not having any health insurance though. Does anyone know... If I get a job that doesn't offer health insurance will I be able to keep my Medicaid/Medicare health coverage?
How to reduce back pain while standing at work?
I just got a job as a cashier and i'm standing pretty much the whole time during a 7 hour shift, minus the 30 minute lunch break. My MIDDLE back starts to hurt after like the 5th hour. I'm 19 so I doubt I have any back issues, but I was wondering if anyone has any tips that would help reduce back pain? Like exercises or anything really.
Back Pain- When I twist it from side to side, i hear a grinding sound. Does anyone know why?
I'm 23 F. I recently started experiencing back pain... oddly I think it was as a result of being in a Pilates class during which I slightly overstretched my back muscles.
Anyhow, the pain has not gone away for about a month and I am slightly freaking out. Now if I sit straight up and twist myself from side to side, I hear a grinding noise. Does anyone know why this is happening? I started noticing it today.
Of course, this is terrible timing because I recently quit my job and now do not have any form of decent health insurance. I'm interested in hearing any suggestions as to what my problem is and what remedies may exist for it (home remedies and professional remedies welcome).
money or health care benefits for breadwinner who has been stricken with cancer?
working mom with disabled husband has been stricken with pancreatic cancer that has spread to colon. she has no sick days from work - husband gets ssi and is not able to work. she has no health benefits from her job but is receiving Cobra - which is not enough for her chemo and radiation. please if someone knows of a means of help, please answer.
Do people over-emphasize the importance of health benefits?
My parents always say, "Seek a job that provides health benefits."
Is that really important?
All I really need to buy is catastrophic insurance.
I don't need to buy full-comprehensive health coverage.
How can I relieve my back pain while working?
I just got a job at McDonald's that entails standing for up to 5 hours at a time (with only a half hour break). I know it sounds easy, and for normal people, it would be. However, when I stand for that long, I get really bad lower back pain. I really don't want this to affect my job performance. Are there any OTC drugs or something that can prevent and/or alleviate lower back pain in this kind of situation?
