Benefits of using a glucose meter without having diabetes?
Ok what would be the benefits of measuring my B.G even if I don't have diabetes? This is for a school assignment. Would it be a good choice to use if your watching weight? Or calories or something? Thanks so much! Since I use mine to measure mine so I don't die lol I don't know why you could use one w/o diabetes?
For anyone who has had a wisdom tooth pulled out?
I'm putting off going to the Dentists because I'm scared I'll need to have one pulled out. I was wondering if anyone has had one pulled out, and if they could try to encourage me LOL.
My Mum was going to have one pulled out but it stopped hurting after a while, and the Dentist said it will be okay, if it doesn't bother her. Is this true for everyone?
I heard you can get gum desease and you might not be able to clear the plaque properly. Is this common?

How should I wear my hair to minimize?
This is going to be a stupid question.. but I had my wisdom teeth removed 2 days ago and now my cheeks are slightly puffy. When I wear my hair back or in a french braid it just exaggerates them. I have long ginger hair and am wondering how I could wear my hair to help minimize the look of my huge cheeks lol. I'm attempting to go out with some friends tonight so this is why I am wondering.
Any ideas? Please be nice lol

i also had my braces on for four years!! its the best feeling when they are off!! but at first, u will look in the mirror and your teeth will look big, and sort of naked!! LOL... its an awesome feeling though =)

LOL) well noo dont believe them... im gonna be honest with you though, the first maybe two weeks are very painful and you are restricted with what you can eat.. cuts are only minor but can be painful depending on where they are in your mouth too...also when you wanna close your mouth, you will have to stretch your lips to get them closed!! lol.. but after a few weeks you will get used to it and it wont be so bad =) goodluck with getting your braces on and your teeth are gonna look gorgeous when they are off! xx

my tooth is very sensitive after shaving too much?
when i went to get my retainer, i asked my ortho to shave down my canine teeth so i wouldn't look like a vampire person (edward cullen lol) and he asked me to raise my hand when it got sensitive but i was just stupid and wanted rounder teeth so i didn't raise my hand for one of my teeth and now it's really sensitive and i'm wondering how to fix it because it bothers me when i eat. i'm using sensodyne and act fluoride rinse. i also use mi paste with my retainer but i've been using this for about 2 weeks and i still feel like my tooth hurts when i chew hard or cold or hot things. does it cost a lot to get this fixed at the dentist? or can they just fill it like a filling? and if they could, how much does a filling cost? thanks!
How to make "fang" teeth look better?
You know how some people have sharp teeth (not really sharp, just a little sharper/pointier than normal) and some call them "fang" teeth? Well, I'm one of those people with the "fang" teeth and sometimes it kinda embarrasses me! Is there anything I can do that would make them look better? Or maybe some makeup would help? If I bought a lip plumper would that draw attention away from them, or would plump lips cover the teeth more when I smile? Or something?! Help!!!
*By the way, my orthodontist says my "fang" teeth are common (which I think is BS lol) and I don't need braces and shouldn't be concerned.... But I am!

Well i used to have what are called peg laterals, this is where some teeth are very small and pushed back. This is how my teeth USED to look:

does toothpaste cause pimples/zits?
I started to get pimples on my chin and my parents say it could be from toothpaste, by letting it drool onto your chin as you brush your teeth. I also know that toothpaste reduces the size of pimples? So I need help on this one. LOL
