Im having a hard time with my Sonicare toothbrush?
Im starting to feel like I wasted 100 bucks on a toothbrush
I bought a Sonicare toothbrush 2 months ago being that my Hygiene wasn't the greatest and I had braces so brushing was important for me. So after brushing for 2 months with the Sonicare I didn't see any sort of results my teeth
1.Looked more yellow
2.Even with the curved thing to make you clean the back of your teeth better I was growing more plaque behind my teeth didn't even feel like it was reaching anything back there
I dont know I feel like I get more from a Manual toothbrush is there something im doing wrong
I have braces and never really had the greatest hygiene in the world so I thought this would help and it really didnt :/

Can an Electric Toothbrush damage your teeth?
Hi. I'm using an electric toothbrush at the minute and under the instructions it says to brush like you would with a manual toothbrush. This seems quite odd since the toothbrush has plastic bristles that feel quite rough when brushed against your teeth. I fear that brushing too hard with a toothbrush that already does the work for you could cause erosion and decay. This is the toothbrush I use http://www.oralb.com/products/pulsar/. I think I may possibly have chipped a tooth while chewing on a nut recently and fear that happened as a result of brushing too hard. Furthermore, I have been feeling really tired of late, which may be because the toothbrush is gradually removing my metal filling because it brushes too hard. Do you think I should swap to a manual toothbrush or will I be fine with an electric toothbrush? I accept this may be codswallop but I just feel like my teeth can be damaged as a result of using a standard, cheap supermarket electric toothbrush.
Thanks for your help.
Thanks for your answers. To continue what the first answer said. Is it a bad idea to brush manually with an electric toothbrush?
Is it safe to use an electronic toothbrush with braces?
I just got my braces on today(Wahoo), and I am really paranoid about knocking the brackets loose. The random little kit they gave me has a manual toothbrush in it. Should I be using that instead?
P.S: My electronic brush is an Oral B Vitality. Dunn know if that matters or not.
Thanks!
Electronic toothbrush — is it really worth it?
I've never used an electronic toothbrush before, but everybody in my family is using the electronic (I'm still using the good old manual toothbrush). Is it worth it to switch to electronic toothbrush? I brush regularly but my gums tend to bleed once in a while. Should I stick with my old manual toothbrush? I'm worried that the electronic toothbrush might be harsh for my gums.
