Does green tea have health benefits?
I have always heard that green tea has health benefits. I also want to know if the kind I buy actually contains those benefits. Its always Bigelows or Lipton green tea (regular or mint flavored) from Walmart. The nutritional info says 0% for everything. I never add sugar or anything to it. Just drink it straight. I don't want any super healthy high priced stuff, but I want to know if I am recieving any benefit from the king of green tea I buy.
Do you have to get the fluoride treatment at the dentist?
Or is it secretly an option that they don't tell me about because they want more money? Honestly, I have an extreme sensitivity to taste and smell, so going to the dentist can be difficult for me. Mint is extremely irritating and most other flavors they use I can't help but gag.
My teeth are supposedly in excellent shape according to my last visit 6 months ago. I use Squigle toothpaste.
When the time comes where I have to do the fluoride thing, it is literally torture. I admit I am embarrassed by this and it can be humiliating because the dentist might poke fun or give me a hard time about it. So, can I decline next time I go? Or is it really that necessary?
Is it bad for my teeth if I still brush with kids toothpaste?
So, I'm 19 & I really can't stand the mint or cinnamon flavored toothpaste on the market for adults.
Is this damaging my teeth? Are they not getting clean enough?
Is there a toothpaste out there for adults that isn't minty or cinnamony?
I actually don't have younger siblings & I use SpongeBob toothpaste.
why do tic tac's give you a lot of plaque on your teeth?
It seems when I eat Tic tacs because I have spacers, they give me lots of plaque which annoys me a LOT and makes my teeth look bad.
Also, Is there an alternative mint to use?
why do i get a headache everytime i use toothpaste?
i use the childrens stuff and it doesnt happen, but it also doesnt really clean my teeth...the mint flavored stuff seems to be the worst. whats up with that?
I have sensitive teeth?
My teeth have always been sensitive to cold, but lately they've started hurting from sugar, too. I've been to the dentist and ruled out cavities, so it's really just the way my teeth are.
I know there are special toothpastes and fluoride rinses that can help me, but here is the problem: I am allergic to mint. I have to use kids' toothpaste and mouthwash (although I am careful to use ADA-approved products with my dentist's guidance), so I can't really use a mint-flavored desensitizing toothpaste.
Are there any desensitizing treatments that have no mint in them? Or am I stuck with some sort of surgery?
