A few questions about my teeth?
Okay first of all I like to discuss about my tooth. I want to ask another question, but my health comes first.
Last time i went to my aunts house she had popcorn varieties of them like caramel, pink, yellow, and all that. It was almost gone and i grabbed a handful. I put half of my handful of popcorn in my mouth. I didn't think there was kernels so I was careless. I just bit and one of my tooth was weird. I thought it was something in between my tooth. I kept picking at it. Then a white hard thing broke off, then I was relieved it was gone. I realized that it was a part of my tooth the one that is 3 away from the back (I don't have wisdom teeth as you can tell). I picked at my tooth with my tongue and realized I chipped it when I accidently chewed on a kernel. I looked into the mirror and I saw a another tooth growing in already. I told my dad and he said I should go to a dentist. I totally agree. But that was like months ago. I still haven't went to a dentist. The tooth does not hurt. Not at all. In fact I haven't lost all my baby teeth yet. The one I'm talking about is the last one. In my previous years I had early in growing teeth like 3 times already. Since my tooth is chipped, it broke in half but it is still connected to my gums. The front half where it shows is very loose. but the one in the back is like barely moving. I just need help should i see a dentist or should I see if my tooth comes out just normally as I used to do early in growing teeth. Sorry best I can explain any questions I would try and answer. Just email me and tell me: courtney.mindee@yahoo.com
Also, my other question is where does the wisdom teeth grow? I know it's behind the molars, but where? on the gums or behind, behind where it is no gums? please tell me. Any other suggestions about having healthy teeth please tell me.
If you don't understand about MY tooth story then please ask I want to know my answer to my question. Just email me: courtney.mindee@yahoo.com

Sore, swollen spot on hard palate right behind front teeth – what could it be?
Hi!
I have a single spot right behind my right upper front tooth that swells up regularly. It's basically one of the rugae at the front of my hard palate. (The rugae, as far as I know, are the ridges behind the upper front teeth that cover the hard palate).
It keeps swelling up, and sometimes it gets pretty sore. It usually stays that way for 3-7 days, goes away for about a week, and then comes back again. Normally, I cannot feel or detect the rugae with my tongue, but when this one is swollen, I can definitely feel it. My girlfriend also seems to recognize if it is swollen or not. Personally, I cannot see it (with a mirror) but can definitely feel it.
This has been going on for about 6 months now.
I first thought it was gingivitis caused by plaque, but I then went to a dental hygienist and got my teeth cleaned professionally - which I initially thought had fixed it, but it came back about a week or two later.
The strange thing is that I can brush the spot with a toothbrush or touch it with my finger, and it doesn't seem that sensitive at all, but I constantly feel it even when I try not to concentrate on it. Eating or cold drinks make it feel better for a very short period. Smoking, as you can imagine, aggravates it, which is why I have cut down considerably. Drinking warm (not hot) tea also aggravates it sometimes. I drink alcohol extremely rarely.
I've tried so many different things, and I'm starting to feel really frustrated by it. I also bought a protective mouth gel that seemed to help at the start, but it's not so effective any more.
A few weeks ago, I went to the dentist, who couldn't find anything unusual, even said my gums looked very healthy. She thought I could have "burning mouth syndrome" and prescribed me vitamin B supplements. I've been taken those now for about 3 weeks.
My "symptom" has come back once since then, and it was actually fairly painful. Usually, it's not really that painful, just extremely annoying, and the fact that it's been going for so long now is really starting to get me down. It stayed for about 4 days and went again, but now it's back. At the moment, it's irritated and swollen, but not sore (yet).
I have another dentist appointment soon. Not sure how that's going to go, but in the meantime, any advice, tips or suggestions would be much appreciated.
I know this is a long one, so, thanks for reading!
I think I have gum erosion !!!?
It all started yesterday when I felt a slight pain in my lower right canine tooth, but today it was even more painful, whenever I open my mouth, cold air causes this pain, water, sweets etc...
when I checked this tooth in the mirror,I found the gum was quite worn away more than the other tooth, so I searched on the net,and found out it may be caused due to "overaggressive" brushing, and I think I "overaggressive" brush on daily basis...
so what should I do besides going to a dentist and/or replacing my toothbrush with a softer one...
will it help,If I stop brushing at all for a couple of days ?..
thanks
no I don't have any holes in any of my teeth,it's just this particular tooth, and I think the rest of the gum is healthy,it's also this particular part, which is worn away..
Is it possible to not be ugly but not be photogenic?
I'm very interested in this (for personal reasons) - I have been told multiple times by multiple sources that I am pretty, and yet when I have pictures taken, I look weird. I don't know what it is. I always look okay in the mirror, but for some reason, I have NEVER had a good photo. It could have something to do with the fact that I don't know what to do in front of the camera. When I smile (showing teeth), my eyes look huge and I look possessed. When I smile without showing teeth, I look unbalanced and lopsided. When I don't smile, I look like I'm about to kill someone. This results in me not knowing what to do. How can I get rid of this problem?
When i am staring at something or just sitting here, am i supposed to clench my jaw so my teeth touch?
or let my jaw drop, with my lips closed? or try to do nothing with my jaw.
what one is what normal people do, that looks best? clenching your jaw makes you look weird, dropping your jaw with your lips closed make you look thin, and relaxing your jaw, when i look in the mirror, i think i look weird, is it just me because im not used to relaxing my jaw? i usually drop it.
