How to get rid of dental plaque?
Are there any good Products. Would you suggest using an electrical toothbrush? Are there any good tooth pastes and mouth washes?
How can I remove tartar from my teeth without going to the dentist?
They always say "only a dentist or dental hygienist can remove tartar", but I don't believe it. Sure, we can remove plaque if we brush and floss, but not tartar, the experts say. Can one of those dental scrapers they sell at pharmacies be used to remove tartar, if used properly? I think they can. What about certain mouth-washes or special types of brushes or other devices? If I learn I can remove tarter from my teeth, but can't do it safely, then forget it, I don't want to damage my enamel or gums.
Don't worry, I won't try doing anything dangerous with my teeth(I just had a dental cleaning anyway last week, my teeth are so smooth and clean I have no tartar to remove anyway), but they are my teeth, not my dentist's teeth. If my dentist tells me I am doing something wrong though, I will stop. I like experimenting, but I don't like taking unnecessary risks.
So how do I get whiter teeth?
I'm 12 years old and i lost all my baby teeth.I take good care of my teeth (brush twice and floss each day) and they are yellow, they also have erosion at the tips, but my dentist said i have overall healthy teeth.Back to my point here, my teeth are yellow and i need some whitning advice, i want to use bleaching but the chemicals are too strong for me in whitning toothpaste and mouth washes so ...does anyone have any ideas about whiter teeth?
this is greatly appreciated!
Should I sue Toothpaste or mouth wash company?
Okay there is the deal. When I lived in Europe then my tooth were perfectly fine. I didn't had any problems. I also got my tooth's checked before I moved to the US. After I was being in US almost 3 months, my teeth started to go in bad condition (I washed them regularly twice a day like when I lived in EU). Then I got gum disease after that. But I also noticed something. In US, the water and toothpastes and mouth washes contains way more fluoride then the water in Europe. So I read one scientific article about fluoride. It says that fluoridation has dangerous long-term consequences to health etc. http://www.shirleys-wellness-cafe.com/fluoride.htm. But I can't afford a dental medical for my self (or my parents can't because they both got new cars and they have other big loans etc). My dad also had the same problem, his tooth started to fall out when he moved to here.
And it fu**ing hurts. I feel pressure under my teeth, it doesn't hurts actually but it feels very uncomfortable and it makes me angry. And we are living in the world most "strongest, richest, powerful etc" country which even can't afford free dental health care people who at at least under 21, but we can fight in Middle East and spend Multi billion dollars. I wish I could move back to the Europe and have a free or cheap dental health care but I can't because I'm in college in here.
I'm going to college in here etc* stupid typos.

i been using peroxide to brush my teeth then followed by my toothpaste to whiten them and i think its been working =] the only bad thing is i hear it weakens your enamel and good mouthwashes or toothpaste to strengthen them? (no i will not use strips or trays to whiten my teeth i have sensative teeth and it hurts like he!! when i use them.
i meant ANY not and good mouth washes or toothpastes.
Is there anyway to whiten your teeth (more than whitestrips do) without going to a Dentist?
I use Crest Whitestrips 2x a day and my teeth are OK white, but I want to try to get them a little whiter. Is there anything out there that anyone has used that works to whiten teeth more than the whitestrips (or along with)? I don't really want to get them done professionally. I've heard of mouth washes and gels and stuff but I don't know anyone who has ever used them.
Thanks!
