How to force a smile with braces?
I understand some girls use vaseline on their teeth to smile in pageants because of the nasty taste, but I have braces. I'm a guy in colorguard and always forget to smile during competitions, any suggestions?

Issue: bad taste in mouth mean bad breath?
Okay so heres my issue, i always end up getting a foul taste in my mouth when i wake up and maybe 30 minutes after i brush my teeth. This causes me to chew gum alot. Because if im not chewing it i get that nasty taste and think i have bad breath. Im very good with my brushing my teeth and keeping good hygiene. I just dont get itt. I also have braces so i thought maybe all the metal in my mouth could be the cause, because i brush my teeth almost after every meal and then morning and night. So yeah i basically brush my teeth 4-6 times a day. I also floss, scrap my tongue with my toothbrush and use fluoride. But nothing seems to work. Can anyone give my suggestions on how to get rid of it or maybe a site with info about itt. Thanks.
Is there a such thing as brushing too much?
Ok, well. I have never really thought anything of it so I havent asked my dentist, but all my friends and even my husband mention that maybe I brush my teeth too much. I usually brush 3 times a day and I floss everyday. I use 3 different tooth brushes and 3 different pastes ( 1 kind for each time I brush) Sometime I brush 4-6 times a day depending on if I have a snack or a nasty taste in my mouth. Is brushing your teeth too much a bad thing?
What can you do about medicine that makes you have bad breath?
I was prescribed a new medicine, and I realized that it is causing me to have a nasty taste in my mouth and my husband says I have bad breath. I constantly brush my teeth and use mouthwash and chew gum, but it doesn't go away. I can't stop taking the prescription. Has anyone else had this problem with medicine, and did you find a solution?
