rotting gums? very rude orthodonast.?

okay so i went to the orthodoanst today.
I have braces, apparently.
I brush my teeth twice everyday, more if i have time and I wear by rubber bands.
by gums arent black they are pink/red..like everyone else at school.
well i went today and i had a loose braket (first time ever).
well the assistant changed it and the Dr. came look at me and he said you have rotten gums, get the mom in her.
so my mom came in the back and he said your daughter has rotten gums, out loud so everyone can hear.
and he said you dont brush your teeth.
and I said, I bursh my teeth twice+ a day, so how are you gonna tell me I dont?
and he took his mask off and said where did you go to dental school, how are you gonna tell me im wrong, ive been to school?
then I said i never said you were wrong, im just saying I do brush my teeth and apparently you dont know whats going on.

question1- what are signs of rotting gums?

my teeth are clean, no plaque, and they are alittle red and bleed a tiny bit. but he made it sound like my teeth are gonna fall out tommorw!
and theirs a laptop at every chair and he told the asst. to write rotting gums, not better by next visit, 10,000 dollar surgery. i thought that was rude..and he was like does your breath stink when you smell it and im like no? and im like does it to you and he said no and im like why do u ask and hes like b/c you have rotten gums and my mom said well is their a rinse to prevent this and he said NO, THERE IS A TOOTHBRUSH AND WATER, WHAT YOUR DAUGHTER HAS NEVER SEEN BEFORE APPARENTLY..
so heres my questions:

-what are signs of rotting gums?
-do you think he was rude?
-are my teeth gonna fall out?
-how can i stop/prevent rotting gums

Hi, I've been in a bit of discomfort lately and have no money to go to a dentist. I haven't brushed as often as I have been. So after I've been in discomfort, I've been brushing and flossing like a tooth-nazi.

I've been doing this for a few days and for the most part, the bleeding has stopped. However, there's an ache on the molar on the farthest left of my jaw. I'm doing all I can but I can't tell if it's getting better, worse, or if it's still the same.

Any tips to ease my woes? It's on the final tooth on the left side of my jaw. And the gum is pretty tender.
