home teeth whitening kits . How do you obtain home teeth whitening kits? slowly giving up?
Can you find a solution for bleaching your teeth? I've seen people in everyday life, not just celebrities that have really good white teeth. Is this because they avoid food staining products like sodas? Any bleaching your teeth products I can use that has worked for you?
How to make/keep teeth as healthy as possible?
I want really healthy teeth. Well.. i guess everybody does, but i wanna really do something about it. I want to get the best tooth paste and I want to protect my enamel and i want to not get cavities, etc, etc. Should I get Crest pro-health? Or Colgate total? Is mouthwash good for your teeth? I heard that too much fluoride can actually be bad for your teeth. I know sodas and juices with acids in them are bad for your teeth. I floss everyday and brush twice a day. What else can i do?
p.s. if you know any tips on making them white without having to use whitening strips or paying tons of money, please let me know!
Any thoughts on what a dentist might suggest for my mom?
My mom has been drinking coca cola on and off since I can remember (I'm now 27). Over the time, she hasn't taken care of her teeth and has a lot of bad teeth with black cavities/rot on them. She said today that for a while, her front bottom teeth have been kind of loose. Today she was eating a sandwich and one fell out. She's finally going to go to a dentist, but I'm not sure what they can really do for her. I know they can help improve some tooth decay conditions under the gum and such. She said the tooth that came out had a lot of plaque behind it.
She's scared at the same time that the dentist is going to want to pull all of her teeth and want her to get false teeth. I've tried and tried and told her and told her over and over and over again...take enough calcium each day, drink more water and leave the cokes alone. Her and my grandmother area addicted to them. My grandmother drinks so many that she literally doesn't drink any water at all some days. However, my grandmother has partial fase teeth anyway...so her cop-out answer (like everything in life that she said the same thing for) was "oh well, it will fix itself."
I know there are some periodontal diseases that can cause tooth loosening and such. I myself am worried about two of my own very front bottom teeth, which have indications of tooth decay. I do not drink many sodas, but do tend to drink a lot of juice. I myself will have to go to the dentist when I get some insurance, and get braces on top and bottom, have a couple of wisdom teeth completely removed due to cavities, etc.
My mom currently has some type of insurance. Should she just go to a regular dentist, or some other kind of specialist in the dental field?
I use Crest Pro Health toothpaste and mouthwash along with flossing daily, yet I still get tartar. HELP!?
I also see the dentist every 6 months and I don't drink coffee or alot of sodas. However, I am a chocolate freak!
Acid Erosion & Braces?
My sister has moderate acid erosion on her teeth from years of suffering from acid reflux and chugging sodas. Her teeth are quite crowded and crooked, and she wants to get braces before she goes to University.
Will her acid eroded teeth be a problem with braces?
And she isn't a good candidate for Invisalign.
Crest White Strips vs. Listerine Whitening Rinse?
Does anyone know which of these products works the best for whitening teeth? Do they have any side effects? Any other information you think I should have would be great. I don't know if this matters, but I drink two to three cups of coffee per day and 1-2 sodas per week (with a straw).
