Help choosing teeth whitening clinic in America! Never been there so need advice from you guys?
Hi going to the states soon.
Don't know how your health policy works and everything sooo
Firstly how much is it on average to get teeth done with a dentist?
2. How does health insurance work out if your not a citizen?
3. Recommendations from you! I'd rather hear from people who've experienced it or seen results first hand
thanks

ok so i know i'm ugly but why do people have to be so mean?
I've always wanted to be pretty. They called me gremlin in highschool and I used to laugh it off but it really hurt. And no not the cute little gremlin named gizmo, but the real ugly ones. I get so sad sometimes. I'm 5'2 and 212 lbs. I have medium brown skin and I have been wearing contacts (hazel or blue) to bring out my eyes. I whiten my teeth every night, straighten or curl my hair every morning, and I even put on makeup. Is there anything else I can do? I hate this sooo much.
Oh I have an appointment scheduled next week for the dermatologist. (acne) (they call me cratah face too)
electric shocks in my teeth?
shocks come out of nowhere during day and mainly affect my front top two teeth, but also happen on other teeth in anterior region of my mouth (incisors, even mandibular teeth). it feels like the shocks associated with teeth whitening (i had this done 2 yrs ago...never had a problem since). they happen about 2-5 times every 15 minutes, drinking or eating does not stlimulate shocks. shocks started up in early july. i had 8 small cavities (never had a cavity before) filled in early june. i went to the dentist and she checked condition of my enamel, gum recession, x-rays, and any cavities. she said that everything was fine. on high fluoride toothpaste now for 5 wks. she guesses that shocks are a result of the fact that only my mandibular/maxillary central incisors touch when i bite (i went to the othro and he said that my jaw did infact grow...i may need braces again...he gave me an essix retainer to protect my teeth at night...he is not sure what is wrong either). i'm 19 and sooo scared!!
Shouldn't insurance company's cover more DENTAL work since your mouth can seriously effect overall health ?
If you have some oral health issues... that alone can cause, strokes, heart attacks, infections, and other serious general health issues which in turn would cost your insurance company FAR MORE than if they just paid more for you to get your teeth checked out say every 3 months. Am i right? My insurance company pays squat for dental, and needless to say i hadnt had a checkup in 18 months (opps) Well i went last week and found out i had a serious infection by my wisdom teeth! I have had to be on 3 rounds of antibiotics, in total which the insurance company paid 5 for. Now i have to have surgery to fix whatever is wrong, and they are now having to shell out 00 for this, and this isnt including my deductible. Sooo, wouldnt they just be smart to make me and pay to get check ups more often?
