What can I do about enamel loss?
I am 26 years old and I am having a huge problem with enamel loss on my teeth. My Dentist gave me fluoride gel, but is there anyting else? Is there some radical new procedure out there to repair my teeth? Just to give you a quick history, I have had a couple of cavities in my life, then out of nowhere a few years back, i had 2 to 3 cavities on each tooth. My Dentist and Doctor speculate it was due to severe acid reflux that went untreated. Basically all night long my stomach acids were eating my teeth away. I will do anything to save them now! Is it too late? Am I going to be 30 years old with dentures?
Does brushing your teeth immediately after vomitting cause tooth decay?
I read that when you make yourself throw up (I'm bulimic), and brush your teeth immediately afterwards, the stomach acids will cause your teeth to decay. Is this true? Or does brushing immediately afterwards fight tooth decay?
