If I pop 2 apples, 1 banana, 1 pear and some strawberries (all whole, skin and all) into a food blender and pulverise them into a fine liquid, will I get the same health benefits as eating them whole?

Weird Sore Splotch of White on my Tongue?
Hiya, on the tip of my tongue, there is like a white (But not like pure white) splotch on my tongue and it feels kind of numb, It's bumpy, and it hurts if I scratch it with my teeth. It's not plaque though.... It's getting really annoying and I have no idea what it is and my mom had this on the bottom of her tongue and it was cancer! Help please. :)
I didn't burn anything on my tongue, all I've eaten today were some pancakes, strawberries and sugar, a bowl of Rice Krispies, and a salami sandwich. :)

Do "natural" teeth whitening techniques actually work?
Okay so basically i know i'm going to give in to Chest White Strips eventually, but i wanna try the natural ways of whitening teeth. Waste of time, or do they kinda work?
Here are some of the remedies i've heard:
- back of orange peels to give em nice luster/shine
- bakin soda
- strawberries (crush em and make a paste then apply to teeth and leave it on for about 5 min. Then wash away.)
- eating celary
- since most commercial whitening things are made from hydrogen peroxide you could buy some at a store. Then put it onto a q-tip and apply. But make sure not to get it onto gums, they will become VERY sensative. Then wash it all off. & make sure not to swalow.
Do any of these work?! And if so how long does it take for the results to show, cuz i'm kinda of an impatient person =)

@furlo - Way to state the obvious, brushing everyday does help. I know. I do that already.

don't have much money to waste on things like crest white strips... ive read some home remedies online for whitening your teeth such as smushed strawberries and baking soda. Does anyone have any good remedies that they've tried and know work well?
