I have hyper sensitivity on teeth 24 and 25. I experience pain and weakness of tooth too. teeth 24 is bit crooked too. at times the pain gets unbelievable. i went as dental emergency to dentist office. they took dental x-ray and said it looks good and there are no cavities. Told me to take motrin and put me on amoxillin. it didn't help. I went again to dentist and this time they put me on stronger pain med and another antibiotic. Still not satisfied I went 3rd time and then an endodontist over there saw me and said the same thing, "nothing seems wrong". When i insisted that I continue experiencing pain, sensitivity and weakness in teeth he said I need night-guard while sleeping. However, I am still not satisfied. The pain persists and dentist keeps saying nothing is wrong. I feel my gums are inflamed. On teeth 24 and 25 there is very rapid tartar and plaque growth. Tartar attacks these 2 teeth very aggressively despite regular brushing and flossing. I got a dental cleaning about 2 weeks back and tartar again seems to grow. I don't know if the rapid tartar and plaque formation on teeth 24 and 25 is connected to pain and sensitivity but as soon as its removed it grows back very fast. I use tartar control toothpaste but no use.
i used sensodyne toothpaste for sensitivity but it didn't help at all

Which is the best/a great mouthwash to use? I don't mean the ones that just make your mouth smell good after using it, but the mouthwashes that are good for your teeth and gums and overall good oral hygiene?
I currently use Listerine Tartar Control (reads: ANTISEPTIC MOUTHWASH - Kills germs that cause Gingivitis) ,
is there a much better mouthwash? Is ACT a good/better choice to use?
Thanks!

My switch to Aquafresh tartar control whitening toothpaste seemed to coincide with my lips becoming very dry and cracked. Could anyone tell me if this is a typical response to a product to which I might be sensitive?

I have a five-minute teeth-brushing routine:
1. Floss
2. Use Anti-Plaque Before-Brushing Rinse
3. Brush with with toothpaste with whitening agent (Crest, etc.)
4. Rinse with Listerine with Anti-Tartar control
Does using the Listerine mouthwash wash away the whitening agent and prevent it from working? I know off-the-shelf whitening toothpaste does work miracles, but I haven't noticed much whitening after months of using it...
oops, mean't "doesn't" work miracles...

That is my science fair project. I will be using tartar control toothpaste, fluoride toothpaste and non-fluoride toothpaste.
-How do I record the shades of the stained and clean teeth? Is there some kind of machine I can use?
-Where could I get actual teeth?Dentist?
-What would be a good hypothesis?Has to be an "If......then......"hypothesis
-How I properly stain them.
