Toothache Pain Relief

stop your toothache pain NOW

Is this tooth probably going to need a root canal?

Posted on September 24, 2010

Had a toothache about 8 months ago while I was pregnant.. put off getting anything done about it because of x-rays,drugs,etc.. hurting the baby, so I dealt with it... had my baby, but now it only hurts about once a month. A couple of people have mentioned it's probably a root problem because although it rarely hurts, it gets a pus pocket (gross,I know..):( around it a couple of times a week. I'm putting off the dentist because I fully expect at least one root canal (I threw up throughout my pregnancy so I'm pretty sure the 2 in the back are "suffering" from "acid erosion").. pretty scary and pretty expensive.
Anyone had experience with a toothache that has gone away but those "pockets" remaining?
ALSO... anyone know about average out-of-pocket with MetLife insurance? We have top-tier coverage and live in Missouri, but I'm still nervous about the cost....
