How long does the Strep Throat Bacteria Last on Surfaces and Which surfaces will it attach to?
I was wondering how long will the Strep Bacteria last outside the body. Like on toys, door knobs, etc. My 16 month old was just diagnosed and now daddy has it , with the possibility of mommy having it (I don't feel real well) I was wondering how long and on which surfaces the bacteria will adhere to. Things like wash cloths or linens I am not sure about but toothbrushes, toys, door knobs, etc I know it will stick to but how long will it live on it?Just in case I miss something with the clorox sprays and wipes since that is the only thing I have found that says it kills Strep on the container.
