HIV Gingivitis… Yes or No?

Posted on December 22, 2010

I was wondering if HIV gingivitis was one of the first symptoms during the first 3 months of being exposed? I had unprotected sex with someone in July, well he put it in like twice and I made him stop. Now all of a sudden I have 2 bumps on my gums on each side of my mouth. One is gray with a red lining and the other one is kind of yellowish looking. Neither one of them hurt, the gray one hurts when I press on it, and it hurts my tooth under it also when I press on it. I do have slight gingivitis my dentist said, what is the difference between HIV gingivitis and regular?

Could I have HIV?

Last summer, my gums started to bleed and i had a white coating on my tongue. Stressing out about the fact that it may be related to HIV persuaded me to go get tested. I have had unprotected sex beforehand. The test turned out negative. Would it be possible to see symptoms of bleeding gums without the HIV antibodies being present? Would the antibodies show up before bleeding gums? Nonetheless, i rinsed my mouth with hydrogen peroxide for about a month, and my oral health has improved and no more bleeding gums for the past 7 months. After washing my hair, now i notice strands coming out easily. Could this be associated with HIV? what do you think?

I have genital warts on the pubic part of my groin. Can my genital warts still be spread by receiving oral sex?

Ok, so i've been searching and searching and i have been getting frustrated at resources online, and i ask to please be serious answers only *since this is my health*.

Ever since contracting HPV Genital warts i have been afraid in having sex. I know that condoms cannot protect against genital warts. In my case my warts is located in the pubic region.

Let's say for example i have unprotected sex with my girlfriend as long as i cover my genital warts so they don't touch her, will she contract it? Same goes for oral sex. If she performs oral sex on me without having contact with my warts on my pubic region will she contract the disease?

What are my chances of getting HIV through oral sex[preforming it]?

-Okay, let me start off that I never/dont had/have an STD or hepatitis and recieved shots for them.

-My oral health is good and no sores/cuts and/or gaps in the mouth.

-His penis has no cuts/sores. This was ONE TIME and no other sexual partners after that[period with men/women]

-I'm getting tested next week

-After he came in my mouth, immediately I spit out all that I can[of course there may of been some semen left, but very small amount if any] Then later washed my mouth out with mouthwash repeatedly[3-5 times in a row each 30 seconds time] and the next morning brushed my teeth right away.

-I didnt brush before that

-I even used a napkin to wipe away the remaining semen directly after[yes, around my mouth and tounge].

-He said he is negative and recently he said he got tested and still negative[I'm getting tested anyway]

-Either way the test comes out regardless, I'm not doing any unprotected sex again.

-I was bi-curious, but realised that I'm straight and dont do anything with guys and/or other people for that matter.

-Oral is the only sex I had at this point by the way.

-My friends who are sexually active do unprotected oral all the time and still negative[but of course that is stupid to do and still poses a risk]
NO, I'm not gay.... bi-curious, but I'm actually straight.

I got the hepatitis shots way before that encounter.

And I know very well it poses a risk.... this is why I'm asking about my risk.
