Is it possible for me to be in a pageant with protruding teeth?

Posted on May 26, 2011

I was wondering if it's still ok if I apply for a beauty pageant even if I don't have the perfect set of teeth. My upper teeth are well aligned, only that the front teeth are protruding a bit.
Do you think I could still pass through the screening with this set of teeth?

This is what they look like:

i think i have gingivitis!!!!!!!!!111?

Posted on November 20, 2010

from what ive read so far i believe i have a case of advanced gingivitis.i come to the conclusion its advanced because on some site it said early cases dont have any pain.the left side of my mouth hurts like hell.my gums are swollen, they bleed easily and ive read that it can change your tooth alignment.when i bite down one of my left upper teeth touches the bottom tooth incredibly soon so i'm pretty sure its gingivitis.i hate the dentis office with a passion so do you all know of any home remedies that are proven to work. thx in advance

how good is tooth sculpting or tooth reshaping?

Posted on September 16, 2010

My cosmetic dentist adviced the above procedure for my protruded and large upper teeth( as i refused the treatment with braces)
he told i may lose some enamel and a part of my original teeth which he will replace with permanent crown.

NEED SUGGESTIONS ABT THIS PLS

I have swollen gums, they don't bleed when i brush/floss…?

Posted on September 9, 2010

Maybe someone can help me out with this one. I've been searching for about 1 month on this topic and nothing seems to hit the head of the nail.

About 1 month ago, my last tooth (upper teeth) on the left side of my face had a cut just above it on the gums, i went to the dentist, he cleaned it with the tool they use to scrape plaque, he cleaned behind the tooth etc. He said maybe i had some food trapped in-between the teeth and it was further than i could get to. Anyways, the swollen gums, and pain associated with it went away.

As soon as the pain and swelling went away from the top gums, the bottom gums, same exact location but just the bottom is swollen and it's painful, i am taking approximately 6 to 8 aspirins a day. I went back to the dentist, he took x-rays, cleaned my mouth with the scraper again. He said the tooth looks good, the root looks healthy. He's not really sure what it could be. Is it a mouth ulcer? I heard the dentist assistant mention Gingivitis level 4, but they didn't diagnose anything, and i figured that the tooth would not be healthy if i had Gingivitis, but he stated everything looks good and to come back in about 1 to 2 weeks if the swelling has not gone away. I've been bruising, flossing and using listerine after every meal. I've also been swishing around Hydrogen Peroxide 2-3 times a day. Any help would be much appreciated.

pale teeth at the gumline?

Posted on August 28, 2010

my 2 front upper teeth are a paleish white color near the gumline. it looks like plaque but its not. there is nothing on my teeth at all. besides the strange coloring. i dont know if its a receding gumline or what.
and i dont have dental insurance so i cant make regular check ups. i was wondering if this is something i should o see the dentist about.

My gums are bleeding after brushing teeth?

Posted on August 20, 2010

I brush my teeth, and there's a gap (filled with gum) between my two front upper teeth. For some reason, when I brush that area (pressing it a little), it starts bleeding. No other places bleed, just this area. I have to stop brushing, run my mouth with cold water, and continue brushing. What is the disease and how can I prevent it?
