Who is the red curly haired girl with the most beautiful teeth on the new Gardasil commercial?

Posted on January 4, 2011

I love her teeth. Her front teeth are longer and round. The opposite of what veneers look like which to me look too flat and masculine for females. I would love to find a picture of her or her name
Regardless if they're fake or not, I want to show my dentist that teeth don't need to have the flat veneer look to be beautiful. She claims in studies people choose pictures of flat teeth over round teeth when asked their opinion of what's is beautiful. I disagree.

Should I get my tooth veneered again? How often do people get veneer replacements?

Posted on August 16, 2010

I've had a veneer on one of my front teeth for about 5 years. Now the color looks different from my other teeth. Should I get it veneered again? I heard that veneer takes off a lot of my enamel, so my tooth would cease to exist if I kept getting it veneered.

Has anyone tried Celebrity Sexy Teeth (a teeth whitening product)? If so, does it work?

Posted on August 16, 2010

I've tried all the drugstore stuff and it's not working. I've been hearing stuff about this product. Here's their website.

I just want to know if it will really work or if it's a waste of money. Let me know if you have tried it either way! My teeth are really discolored and I'm beginning to think veneer is my only option and that's sooooo expensive!

Do the teeth of people with veneers, crowns, etc. rot underneath them?

Posted on August 3, 2010

This is something that I never really understood...why someone would want "cosmetic veneers" if they have existing/crooked teeth underneath and just want to "hide a gap." To me, if a crown or veneer covers the tooth...that means I can't brush plaque off from it and it will eventually decay. Isn't this true?

Why didn't they recommend a crown & retainer in the first place?

Posted on August 3, 2010

I had braces many years ago and had nice teeth. About 4 years after having them removed, my wisdom teeth came in and pushed some back together and they are very crooked again – however it’s only about 3 teeth total that are not aligned.

I recently began seeing a new dentist. He put a crown on one front tooth (it was very discolored from fluoride and misshaped as well) and then he is using a clear retainer to move the really crooked one in front in to the right place. He left a little gap in between them when he did the crown so that the crooked one will have room to move in to place.

This is going to cost me much less money that having braces on again and it will take much less time (a month) for the tooth to move, PLUS I don’t have to wear those ugly metal things on my teeth AT ALL… and then we can put a veneer on the last tooth. My question is, why don’t more dentist/orthodontists go this route if they only have a couple of teeth unaligned? I have had several dentists recommend that I get braces again (not happening, I am too old & I’ve already worn them once & hated them) but since this route is so much quicker and cheaper, why didn’t they recommend this in the first place?
