Is using a waterpik the same as flossing?

Posted on March 3, 2011

I dont floss I just use a waterpik. I was wondering if that alone is effective enough to remove plaque and food between teeth.

If you have used a Waterpik, are you happy with it?

I am considering buying a Waterpik Ultra to help keep my teeth clean, as I tend to get gingivitis easily. I would like to hear from anyone who has used a Waterpik to know if you liked it and if it really helped with your teeth/gums. The website claims 93% better cleaning than brushing and flossing. Thanks for any answers!

How well does a Waterpik work?

Posted on January 22, 2011

My dental hygienist said that it might be a good idea for me to use a waterpik. I've been struggling with gingivitis. And she said it makes the gums a lot healthier and gets them cleaner than normal brushing and flossing.

I’m 13 and I have gingivitis?

Posted on December 1, 2010

I have gingivitis and it is because I'm not very good about brushing my teeth plus I have braces. I was wondering if it would go away if I brushed my teeth, used my waterpik, and used mouthwash 3 times a day? If so how long would it take?
