I’m 13 and I have gingivitis?
I have gingivitis and it is because I'm not very good about brushing my teeth plus I have braces. I was wondering if it would go away if I brushed my teeth, used my waterpik, and used mouthwash 3 times a day? If so how long would it take?
Do you still have to floss if you use a waterpik?
I have had braces for about four months now and flossing can be such a hassle. I was wondering if I could just use my waterpik daily in place of flossing. I currently do both.
I have a question about my waterpik?
ok so here's the exact model i have:

i keep getting mouth infections and my orthodontist keeps telling me to use a waterpik. but i swear to god it fucking hurts. is it supposed to do that? it made me bleed! i hear that you can control the pressure but i only see three damn buttons of this thing which is the eject button, the button in the middle, and the off button.
What is the optimal dental care regimen?
Example:
*Visit dentist twice a year.
* Floss after all meals and snacks with power flosser.
* No sugar in diet other than what is in fruit.
* Brush after all meals and snacks with a power toothbrush such as Sonicare.
* Irrigate mouth with WaterPik or similar device.
* Clean tongue.
Probably no one is this perfect. But what is your idea of perfect dental home care?

Is the waterpik like flossing?
Can i get the same results? Because I have braces and its really hard to floss with them so can I just use the Waterpik as a substitute?
Waterpik Power Flosser?
I have been looking into getting a Waterpik since I just recently got braces. Has anyone tried this or know anything about it?
