In office teeth whitening and clear dental work?

Posted on August 17, 2010

Currently, I have two fillings on my two front teeth, (because one is chipped), a crown on the side top and a clear filling on the side bottom.

I really, really want to get my teeth whiter
by some type of in-office treatment.
So I know i'll have to get my white fillings replaced to match it.

My question is, has anyone ever done this or know how I can go about doing it?
Would I be able to get at least the two front teeth done the same day as the whitening?

How much does the in-office whitening cost?

(i already have the at home whitening, but stopped using when i got the clear front fillings.)
How long does the in office whitening take?
Does it hurt?
Is there a big difference in color or do you have to get more treatments?

will teeth whitening strips work on white fillings in front teeth?

I have some white fillings in the front of my teeth, and I'm afraid that if I use the whitening strips, they will only work on my teeth and not the fillings. I don't want my teeth to be different colors between the natural tooth and the filling.
