I am getting my braces off in 4 days and have some questions.?
I am getting my braces off in 4 days ( Friday, June 11th.) I want to know what it is like getting them off. What they do, is it painful, does it taste bad and what is it like afterwords. I really am excited I have had braces for about 18 months and have a lot of questions.
First of all I am afraid my teeth will NOT be white.
I never really took care of my teeth. Never brushed twice a day, only flossed when I needed to and so on. So once I got my braces on I started brushing a lot, flossing using mouth wash, fluoride etc.I never got complaints about needing to brush better ( unlike a lot of other people I have sen at the orthodontist office). On the walls they have posters of white spots on teeth from not brushing enough. Supposedly your teeth r white to start they but the brackets on u stop brushing,your teeth start to yellow. And when you go to get them off they have white spots from where the bracket was. I am afraid I will have the opposite effect. My teeth will be white with yellow center spots. Any ideas. I really want nice straight white teeth.
Do u have any recommendations for toothpastes for whiter teeth. What should I do once I get my braces off. And once they are off can I use whitening strips.
I just got my braces off I love my teeth they are straight and white. But I am really scared. I am not getting my retainer for 2 weeks. How much will my teeth move. I don't want my teeth 2 move.
How can i get rid of white spots on my teeth?
Ok..ive asked this question before but i wasnt happy with the answers!Some people said they were Calcuim deposits and other said that i should use dental fluoride but they werent the right answers! okay..Since i was younger i had 2 white spots on my teeth, they were VERY noticeable! (i googled white spots on teeth.,but they were nothing compared to mine) My dentist didnt know how i got them (she said that i probably fell on the floor and my two front teeth hit off the ground!,well anyway,i started secondary school,so totally new people saw the spots..but in april i got clear braces.I loved them bcoz they covered up my 2 white spots! So i was confident when i was taking a photo. Well ive had them now for about 11 months and i don't want to take them out because of the spots (the ones ive had since i was younge) and there will be new ones so the spots will be even bigger. Everybody had forgoten that i had spots on my teeth! Does anybody know *ANYTHING* that i can do to get rid of them?

you dont even notice the braces here. Im getting the braces off soon! People in my year..will say anything mean like! they dont care about your feelings! They will probably start calling me spotty! :(:( *tear* PLEASE HELP ME!!!!
