Ok people I have chronic bad breath and I wanna get rid of it. How?
Yea I brush my teeth twice a day. I pic my teeth all the time when no ones around. Bad habit but still good for dental hygiene. I use Listerine twice a day. I brush my tongue hard 1-3 times a day and ever time I do it I make sure I did a good job of cleaning it off. (In case someone says the tooth brush dosn't worth. It isn't very good but if your patient and brush the tongue several times in a row with soup and water it eventually gets clean.) Regardless of what I do I can't get rid of my bad breath. It seems to generate in my mouth within 15 minutes as well as plaque buildup on my tounge. I'm starting to thing its genetics. My teeth are a big above average when it some to resistance to tooth decay. I mean I have gotten cavities but its rare and in the past I wasn't very good with my teeth like I would brush one a day or even not at all if I plan on not going out but even then when I go to the dentist the x-ray comes back either clear or with maybe one cavity after 6-10 years. I'm starting to think their is a connection between having my super teeth and bad breath. Maybe the bacteria in my mouth that smell so bad is the same thing thats protecting my teeth from harmful bacteria. So I have super teeth at the price of bad breath. I have no idea but i'm ranting and I just wanna know for to fix my damn breath. BTW I don't smoke, don't drink coffee, I drink a lot of milk and I know milk makes a lot of plaque very fast so I always brush after I drank my fill. I am at wits end.
How Do I Get My 15 yr old to Floss?
I want my daughter to floss - she brushes but doesn't take care of her gums. She is showing signs of gingivitis and both the dentist and myself nag at her about flossing. We've shown her pictures of the results of no flossing, but nothing seems to get through. I've explained that dental treatment is very expensive and in a few years when she's too old to be on my insurance plan she'll regret it. She'll be very, very poor or very, very toothless.
Her teeth are a bit crooked and could use braces, but the dentist won't put them on her until her gums clear up and she flosses on a regular basis. I'm at my wits end.
Suggestions?
I have constant bad breath and it’s making me insane. I’ve had it since I was little. Please help?
I've had this problem since I was 10 years old. I'm 25 now and have been to numerous doctors and they can't find what the problem is. I'm at my wits end! I've just ordered a probiotics kit from TheraBreath hoping that it will solve the problem, but the earlier products from that line didn't work for me before so I must have an extremely stubborn case of bad breath.
It doesn't smell like your normal poop breath. It smells like rotting cheese/milk. It also smells when I breathe out of my nose. I brush and floss twice a day, use mouthwash, go to the dentist regularly and my mouth is in perfect health. I do notice, however, that I have a very bad whitish/yellow coating on the back of my tongue that I can't reach with a tongue scraper because of my gag reflex. Could this be the cause?
I've noticed that sometimes if I have very bad plaque build up and floss my teeth, the plaque that comes off smells like my bad breath.
Can anybody help me or offer suggestions besides the obvious gum, mints, brushing, flossing, etc? Because I do all of that. I've suffered with this problem my whole life and fear that I'm going to be an old cat lady because nobody will ever love me due to my bad breath. HELP!
Cure for canker sores in the mouth?
I get terrible canker sores on the sides of my tongue and they are really difficult to get rid of! I'm not sure what causes them unless maybe I bite my tongue in my sleep. I've tried the patches, honey, salt, rinsing with salt water, rinsing with peroxide. I'm at my wits end with the pain! Does anyone have anything that works?
I forgot to mention that I didn't have a constant problem with them until recently.
what would you recommend for severe tooth erosion?
helppp! im at my wits end.
i have been severely bulimic and desperately struggling to recover.
i am making progress now, but my teeth are eroded which has left my confidence shattered. the enamel has eroded and worn them down alot, to the point where it is very visible, and i was wondering what possible solutions there is, and the life expectancy/cost of the solutions! (if there are any :( )
any help is very much appreciated.
