Does whitening/bleaching teeth remove yellow stain or cover it?
My teeth are yellow and I was wondering if I get my teeth whiten by the dentist, will it remove the yellow stain on my teeth or will it cover the yellow with white over it leave the yellow behind.
Is is SAFE to give adult toothpaste to a toddler?
Something not so minty that it's too overpowering for her.
It does not seem like the baby toothpaste is cleaning her teeth. Her two top middle teeth have a yellow stain to them and I want to get them clean. We've been brushing her teeth but she fights us constantly. She hates it.
Can someone advise me on (1) Toothpaste, (2) How long should we be brushing her teeth, etc.

dont get me wrong,i do brush my teeth.but there is this little yellow stain at the bottom.i keep brushing but no matter how i try it wont go away.i dont smoke i rearely drink coffee.

Hey all, I've a couple of questions regarding dental health/hygiene that have been on my mind lately:
How do people end up with those big, nasty, brown/yellow stain-lines through their [usually] upper teeth?
Fluoride is beneficial to teeth, but is that when consumed internally (ie: Tap Water) or when placed on the teeth? (like the stuff the dentist rubs on your teeth when you get your routine cleaning). Or is it both?
