What is the longest you can go without brushing your teeth before it becomes unsafe? (permanent damage. etc.)?

I had surgery on tuesday and my face is very swollen and i cant brush my teeth. I tired to brush my teeth yesterday but I only managed to get my bottom teeth. I was just wondering whats the longest I can go without brushing my teeth before it becomes unsafe I dont want my teeth to rot. Thanks

  1. Well I had a friend who was sick for 3 years and she couldn’t brush her teeth for 3/4 months and they got yellow, but she brushed them super loong after- So 6-1year??
